Cycle Buddies March/April

I know its a bit early but I am awaiting for AF to arrive this month so we can start our second fresh IVF cycle.
Our history is I'm 41, ttc 3 years now, unexplained infertility. AMH is 1.7 We had a fresh cycle last year (march/April as well!) and had 2 embryos put back. They stuck until 9dp5dt.
We have changed clinics - as I couldn't go back to the first one, nothing they did wrong really, just in my head I couldn't go back there.
New clinic does seem more thorough, so we are going to be on different drugs, still buserelin to down reg but then onto Menopur. I am going to have the scratch this time too.
Last year the cycle buddies thread on here was invaluable to me so if anyone else is starting soon it would be lovely to have the support.

I know what you mean Bjonesreborn. I've stupidly been on FB and wished I hadn't.
Doing my best to sit on the fence-not think either worse or best case scenario. About 4 weeks until start round 2.

How did your scan go heart

Had scan and blood yesterday and was told to come back today. I am on my way to the clinic now, hopefully I will get my EC date today.
You have six more days till you start your stimming. I am counting down for you.

Bloods and scan, another one tomorrow then maybe EC on Friday.

I had my smear test yesterday as well. Just feel violated with everyone poking things in my vagina. Wish it didn't have to come to this but what can one do.

You’re getting close heart exciting! Yes hopefully a week today I should start stimming, have a scan on Monday. And totally know what you mean about being poked about, there’s no dignity in this method of baby making is there.

Can't believe how quick your stimming is coming around Bjonesreborn! It's all feeling very real again.
Don't know if it's just happening to me (or I'm more sensitive to it), but there appears to be a lot of people pregnant/have just given birth on social media at the moment. I'm finding it quite difficult to deal with this time around. I sometimes wonder if I'd be better coming off it for the next month or so.
Hoping the 'beast from the east' doesn't return this weekend!

Please no beast from the east, although did make me laugh as yet again we have an appt at the clinic on Monday morning so wonder whether we’ll be in a travellodge again on Sunday night!!
Got a nice bruise on my tummy from last nights injection, don’t think oh did anything different but may just be he hit a previous spot.

@yorkshirelass, April is almost here, U r starting with ur AF in April right? I am counting down for U. When is ur AF expected?
Had my trigger yesterday at 11.30pm. EC booked for tomorrow at 10.15am. I can wait, feel so bloated. I am anxious and trying to distant myself from the whole process just in case Of The unexpected; self preservation I guess.
Hope it bruise is healing up nicely @bjones. The joys of 💉 eh! Lol

Can’t quite believe the day i’ve Had. One of my close friends texted me to say they were pregnant, they’ve only been trying since Xmas. Ffs so unfair. Get home very upset to oh as he’s about to give me my injection and he says “well I may as well tell you xxx (another friend of ours) is pregnant too”. You couldn’t make it up - 2 baby bombs in one day. I’m feeling very down hearted and wondering what the fuck I will do if this round doesn’t work, not sure I’ll cope. How is it that something I have so desperately yearned for for years is seeming impossible for me to get. Yet others just seem to have to blink and they’re pregnant. Sorry for my language ladies!

I feel your pain @bjones. I am sorry you had a rough day. Don't beat yourself up dear; be kind to yourself. We are all in this journey together and I earnestly pray ours will be a success story.

Don't apologise, it's totally warranted and we can absolutely sympathise! It sucks and feels incredibly unfair. Despite work knowing of my situation, they have placed a pregnant member of staff in my class. It's my responsibility to keep her out of harms way. It almost feels like a cruel joke. How I'm going to deal with it all if this cycle fails, God only knows.

Yes Heart, waiting for AF mid April, so not too long now. Lots of luck for tomorrow, got everything crossed it goes well for you. Please keep us posted.

Hi all, the sun is out today so hopefully the beast from the east will pass us by 🤔

Had EC today, had 10 eggs harvested lol. That was more than I hoped for. I Was praying for 8. Will get a call tomorrow from the embryologist to let me know how many fertilised.
Still a bit woozy from the sedation. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Thanks yorkshirelass, I am doing good. Just got THE call, 8 out Of The 10 eggs fertilised. 2 were immature. ET planned for Wednesday at 10.30am.

White stuff over here too but nothing compared to 2 weeks ago.

I had a bit of a fright yesterday as I started bleeding and wasn’t sure that was meant to happen. I’m getting so confused as it is all different to my last round. Anyway I spoke to the clinic and she assured me that was a good thing. Rugby watching today, no doubt watching England get thrashed! Have a nice weekend ladies

Bet it was a bit scary with the bleeding, glad they have reassured you and that everything is ok.
AF started so, looking like will be around 14th April to start stimming.
