Wispabarsareback · 20/11/2009 16:51

I did fleetingly consider Cleo...

Rindercella · 20/11/2009 16:55

Mercedes or TT. God, would hope I never, ever have to give birth in the TT - it is titchy!

KurriKurri · 20/11/2009 16:57

Wish I'd thought of this at the time (back in the eighties) DS could have been Avenger, he'd have loved that name

MrsHappy · 20/11/2009 16:59

Mini.

Is it even possible to give birth in a Mini? It's so tiny I would probably have had to take the roof down.

More correctly DD2 should be called "operating theatre".

Jackstini · 20/11/2009 17:05

Mercedes for dd, Kuga for ds - very rugged!

SolosScrapingUpForXmas · 20/11/2009 17:34

Hmmmm...Ds would've been Citroen BX TZD...Call him Roen maybe? with a French lilt?

Dd would've been Picasso or Cass?

SolosScrapingUpForXmas · 20/11/2009 17:36

Oh and I would've been A BSA motorbike and was practically born on it!

I like Saab but I think maybe it's too pretentious as we're both Scottish. Does it sound too foreign?

jeanjeannie · 20/11/2009 18:20

DD1 would have been Almera
DD2 would have been Berlingo

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 20/11/2009 22:43

Alfa Romeo

nighbynight · 20/11/2009 22:52

PuppyMonkey · 21/11/2009 08:59

I could have had a Fabia (or Skoda, maybe) and also a Megane and a Mercedes. I think they all match quite nicely.

Oh yes, and Micra, my first.

All lovely.

Spacehoppa · 21/11/2009 09:20

Mercedes is a perfectly good name (thanks Rindercella et al), although not really suitable for Northern types. It is a particularly good name in that the better known diminutives will cause no particular offence.

Goldberry · 21/11/2009 14:41

Haven't read rest of thread except a few, but my dd would be Mégane and ds Picasso. Not bad eh?

sazzerbear · 21/11/2009 14:44

Energyconnect · 21/11/2009 18:35

My neice is named Nicole after the renualt adverts all those years a go and it was my idea, my brother sat at the table after she was born worrying what to call her and i just said "nicole", "pappa" and that was it, he rushed of to the hospital and informed my sister in law, great story
