Ours would be baby Ka - a little harsh sounding I think but it does have multiple pronunciation options Kah Kay Kaaaaah Kay-ay

Marauder - hmmmm, that sounds about right for 16-mo DD3 at the moment

atlantis · 19/11/2009 21:52

Galaxy for my boy

Kia Carens for my girl.

drowninginclutter · 19/11/2009 21:52

DS would have been Felicia - not so good for a boy.

atlantis · 19/11/2009 21:54

scotlass · 19/11/2009 22:00

Seeker - snap - we have baby bongo too!

BikeRunSki · 19/11/2009 22:10

I once knew twin girls whose dad was relly into lorries, and their middle names were Scania and Volvo. I kid you not. Perfectly normal first names though!

BikeRunSki · 19/11/2009 22:12

DS would could have been Octovia. Not very manly, might have had to go for the more macho Skoda. Sounds quite good with our surname actually.

We could differentiate with engine sizes.

kalo12 · 19/11/2009 22:58

jazz

claraquack · 19/11/2009 23:23

Suki. Short for Suzuki. V. cute name but probably works better in Tokyo.

zoggs · 19/11/2009 23:32

Fiesta, Astra and Sierra. I do know someone called Astra actually.

fortyplus · 19/11/2009 23:33

OOh look - am I the first who would've had a
Land Rover?!
And not one of the modern shiny ones but an old drab green 1973 SWB. It snowed the night DS1 was born.
We also had an Escort at the time. I was fond of that car - both the DSs came home from hospital in it.

LadyG · 19/11/2009 23:47

Boy called Beetle and little girl called Mercedes. Quite nice really.

daisy99divine · 20/11/2009 01:34

How about Austin Healey thinking about rugby players isn't there a Remy Martin as well (yes I know not a car but just wondering why they were named after such things)

hel9a · 20/11/2009 06:30

I've mentioned this before elsewhere on MN:
I used to know a girl called Portia (sounds a bit like Porsche).
Her sister was called Mercedes.
Fact!

mufti · 20/11/2009 08:06

rover at the time, which would have been fine if he had been a dog

tiredemma · 20/11/2009 08:12

DS1 would be Citreon with Saxo as a middle name

DS2 Audi

MadreInglese · 20/11/2009 08:42

I'm liking Zafira

OP posts:
acebaby · 20/11/2009 09:00

DS2 would be C4 and DS1 would be clio. Actually, Clio is ok, but maybe not for a boy! DS1 was quite close to being born in the car so it could have been an issue.

It's an interesting criteria by which to choose a car though. Daewoo for a boy Mazda for a girl...
