Reading about Jewish family preparing to flee my (and their) country makes me feel so so ashamed. I’ve read with horror the history of the Jewish people being exiled and fleeing countries, I never ever thought I would live in a country where Jews would feel they needed to flee. How can we have let it get to this point? How can we not have learned from history. How can people, who consider themselves kind and liberal be taking part in activities intimidating and creating fear amongst our Jewish communities, to the point they feel they need to leave the country. I’m so ashamed, I’m not going to be complicit in yet another persecution and exile of Jews - this is horrific.
