Absolutely shocking attack at the Heaton Park Synagogue in Crumpsall North Manchester. My heart goes out to all those hurt and affected by this terrible atrocity.

Unfortunately I think today's terrorist attack is just a taste of what is coming.

The reality is that at some point the war in Gaza will come to an end. This is highly unlikely to be an end where Hamas win because that means Israel no longer exists, nor a deal where Hamas stay in power because that would simply mean a repeat of 7th October in a few years time.

So the war ends with the Hamas leadership in Gaza being removed from power. Now this can be done peacefully as proposed under the latest peace deal or if they refuse then forcibly which also means a lot more destruction and civilian deaths in Gaza.

In addition right now there are alot of people angry with Israel's actions in Gaza from pro Palestinian marches, protests, politicians being elected on pro Palestinian platforms, groups such as Palestine Action that not only attack British military equipment but also attacked a police officer with a sledge hammer and hospitalised her and lastly and more worryingly large numbers of people openly supporting Palestine Action despite it being a designated terrorist organisation.

Now finally getting to my point, when the war in Gaza finally ends, the angry protesters, pro Palestinian MPs, Palestine Action and their open supporters are not just going to go away and say well it's all over now. Instead they are going to remain angry at either the peace deal or the outcome of the war.

For a sizeable minority of them they will resort to physical violence or acts of destruction (which have already seen with Palestine Action) long after the war ends with support from angry former protesters.

It maybe a Jewish synagogue today but in the near future the physical attacks and destruction will spread to other parts of Britain.

Yes. Loads of home reared snakes - you are going to have issues for decades.

What a vile individual. This is what is marching. I'd be disgusted if this was my child, wishing death on people. She should be arrested but hatred towards Jewish people is pretty normal.

The UK has got to sort this out, quickly.

Should be arrested for hate crime then forced to watch footage of Holocaust survivors and footage of the Oct 7 attack.

Claiming without any evidence, that this is an asylum seeker creates more hatred. That is what I challenged.

You can't tell from the video that he is an asylum seeker…that is a ridiculous claim.

Exclusion and division. Misinformation and lies. Assumptions.

Stirring the hatred we are dealing with in the UK.

reginaldronnierara · 02/10/2025 22:09

An Islamist terrorist, quelle surprise.

He arrived as a child and been 'British' since 2006. Arrived with his family as a child.

PropertyD · 02/10/2025 22:11

BBC is saying he arrived in UK as a child of 6.

Is he also the one who threatened that Tory MP in 2012? If so, he has been festering away for a long while.

According to the BBC he was born in Syria and then came to the UK as a child with
his Syrian parents (presumably the ones who named him Jihad)

And will await confirmation, IF it is true, of him being an asylum seeker.

Not spread assumptions.

What happened to him that made him hate the Jewish people so much. Others have been arrested too. Why are they walking amongst us and no one notices? Is it that we do but no one likes to call it out.

lisalisa · 02/10/2025 22:16

My son in laws friend was one of those critically injured - he was stabbed in the kidney .
the ground is burning under our feet - time for British Jews to get out and leave

PraisebetoGod · 02/10/2025 22:16

Wouldn't surprise me if his parents are arrested too

Please no.. there will be more marches if that is indeed true and it might not be.

Surely not a whole family?

I don’t want you to leave. I’d prefer we didn’t have this terrorism.

Because in certain circles there is a deeply ingrained hatred of Jews and nothing is done to stem it, instead we see middle class mums netters trotting along to marches creating fear and intimidation in the Jewish community still some how convinced of their moral high ground

It shows the power of SM and MSM. We need to act fast now. We need tv programs showing the terrible way women are treated in Gaza, journalists investigating how gays are tortured and murdered..We need honest discussions about Islamic ideology, where it came from and the purpose behind its creation.

We need schools to be teaching about the abhorrent treatment of Jews throughout history and why Israel restored Jews back to the area from where Judaism started and’s from where they were exiled.

This government needs to be countering false information every turn. We need tk ensure our children are educated about anti semitism and to do that people need to own their own anti semitism

Fantastic post 👏

Oh we notice. But people are scared to call it out. People like nomas and Goinfor who try to silence the truth.

As a society we have let Jewish people down & emboldened antisemitism. Many knew this was coming and are not surprised.

Can you imagine a spontaneous march on the day of a terrorist attack against any other group?

When someone comes in at age 16, from a country like Syria where they grow up fast and are considered men at that age, they are not quite a child. They are pretty much formed and assimilating at that age can be tough.

My biggest concern is the amount of young people who have been captured.

I’m not surprised given posting on here even. Smirks at fears. Dismissal of what people might do.

@lisalisa- I equally don't want you to leave but I can understand your logic for doing so.
