Yvette Cooper’s husband was given Taylor Swift tickets worth hundreds of pounds and he invited his wife. Following this Ms Swift was given security she worth millions she might not have necessarily expected to receive. The Labour sleaze just does not let up!

I presume the same people who have a big issue were moaning about Johnson and truss on 6 week speaking tours in USA and still claiming MP money or Johnson's wallpaper or free honeymoons and helicopters etc ? Are you saying that the Home Secretary and the London mayor put pressure on the Met for security for TS in order to get free tickets for a concert and then the tickets were actually given to the Home Secretaries husband as some kind of cover up ??
I too agree that politicians should be seen at art and music events.
I don't have a problem with them accepting these kind of donations IF there isn't something expected in return , PPE contracts for example.

I couldn’t really care less if politicians got freebies to Taylor Swift. Even if it was because of a phone call to put some extra police in the vicinity of Wembley (even though it was nothing if the sort but don’t let facts get in the way of a Labour bashing OP). As someone who attended the show at Wembley in August I am happy that security was stepped up

@ThatbloodyRoblox it's designed to plant seeds that 'they are all the same' - it is not the same thing at all to get tix to football or gigs( and declare them) to doing six week paid speaking dates in USwhikst taking an MPs salary or demanding the ridiculous amount of stuff on the public purse that the Johnson's did when moving into Downing st or awarding huge and un tendered contracts to donors/ supporters. Didn't see many of them making a huge story as an example when Farage was being kept in a Chelsea house- all paid for by others.
