GillW · 16/06/2004 16:23

New thread beacuse Bunglie needs the existing ones to be temporarily archived (and the last one was getting so-o-o-o-o long...)

OP posts:
Bunglie · 16/06/2004 16:31

Thank you GillW, I hope the situation will be only temporary.

I hope you all manage to find this.

Janh · 16/06/2004 16:35

Hello! Nice to see you! Anyone want a brew?

Bunglie · 16/06/2004 16:35

This was posted on the one I tried to do!

Due to reasons that I shall make clear later we need to archive the previous threads. It would be nice if we could continue so that we can offer support to Cheeseball, Postsue and Spudbrain, and of course any mothers who are out there who have not posted but are following this thread. Also any new mothers who feel they want to join us.

I hope the archiving will only be temporary, but please try and understand that it is important. Postsue and Cheeseball already know, but I am sorry but I have not been able to contact you Spudbrain.
Many thanks to all
Bunglie

Bunglie · 16/06/2004 16:38

Gothicmama I have difficulty answering that. You may use the posts from the previous threads and tell them my story as it is there. You can say that you do not think that Mrs Hodges statement is being adhered too as the social services seem to be incapable of policing themselves. You say what you feel. You could use material from the aticle in Real Magazine. I would not dream of telling anyone what to write, but GillW is brilliant at writing letters and has helped me. Perhaps she can help you?

gothicmama · 16/06/2004 17:43

Thanks Bunglie I should be OK I just wanted to know if there was anything that was being compaigned for but I should be ok I do not really want to use anyones story but to give a concerned citizen Point of view perhaps using the article as my starting point.

Bunglie · 16/06/2004 19:00

Thanks for those links.

I will be so dissillusioned(sp?) if he is not struck off.

Aloha, you admitted you baby/child had a nosebleed I think. Well acording to him if you were a careing parent you should have dialed 999 and got an ambulance!!!

So be warned if your child has a nosebleed and coughs a bit on the blood (like any normal child would) You should dial 999. If everyone did that our ambulsnce service really would be in trouble.
Could go on but it is not worth the effort.
I am just horrified that Aloha did not call 999, have you still got the video Beety

As you can see it is really late. But I wanted to post yo you that I had spoken to my ds

Firstly , my temparature shot up to 38.5 this evening and I thought the infection was back. I felt dreadful . However I have just woken and need to change my sheets, but it has gone down, so please God that it stays that way for Sunday. I was just a bit worried that I would not make it for a couple of hours, but all seems OK now.

My ds said that he did not know where the letter was and he was not sure he could find it. I said "that's OK, no pressure but if you can, please do not worry about me getting upset by the contents or anything, it would just be really helpfu if you can," He said he would look, but I am not too optomistic. I told him that although it was not his birthday on Sunday we were going to bring it forward for the day, he said "cool!" He then asked why I wanted the letter and I said "It would just be helpful if he could, but no pressure, I can get it from somewhere else." I told him it was written 15 years ago and he did not realise that but is still adamant that his sister should not get it. So I told him that if he showed me his copy, I would give it straight back without anyone knowing and it would help stop his sister get it." I also told him that I could explain a bit more on Sunday and that I was really looking forward to it. I told him how well he sounded and he said "yeh, things are really good at the moment". So I assured him that it was nothing bad and that not to 'stress' over the letter. He said it would be good if we could all go out for tea but was not sure the af is up to walking. I said he could borrow one of my electric buggies, he laughed.
So all is OK I think, does that sound positive to you?

Bunglie · 17/06/2004 03:50

It suddenly dawned on me , after Gothicmama posted, PLEASE, if you have read my story, Cheeseballs, Spudbrain or postsues, or the article in the Real Mag. and feel that you would like to help. Then please, please email your MP and Mrs Hodge with your views. If you can print off your email and post it as well all the better.
I feel a bit guilty to 'plug' this again but it would be really really helpful at this stage if you could make your mP aware of the fact that Margaret Hodges remit does not have seemed to have been adhered to.
Many thanks Bunglie. XXXX
I am back to bed now, but OK.

gothicmama · 17/06/2004 08:49

Bunglie that sounds a realy positive response from you ds I hopw all goes well Sunday . It was a good idea to ask other people to write as well as. I wanted to something but was not sure who to contact and other people may be the same.

Bunglie · 17/06/2004 13:17

Sorry Sofia, I have just got your message. I was feeling a bit 'icky' but all is well again this morning. I have a lot to do to sort out for tomorrow, (like clean!) but I am realy excited.
My dd is taking AS levels this year. Does anyone know if they are finished yet or if she will still be in the middle of them?
