I watched the first few minutes and it looks really good. It's 1.5 hours long though - am meant to be working!

Yes I just watched it - it is extraordinary watching!!

What's the gist? Is it a conspiracy theory thing?

There is another docu called In Plane Truth which covers the same ground but leaves a very disturbing feeling about the whole thing. My neighbour gave me copies a while back, they are on YouTube too as I sent links to my friend in Chicago who was completely horrified.

There are too many photographs, too many mistakes (a plane hits the Pentagon and evaporates but they find the terrorists passport?) The fact that once shown this evidence it is clear that nothing was as it seemed and that is worrying. Most conspiracies you can pull apart fairly easily, they are all 'well that could have happened but then it might not have.'

Not this though, I was really shocked the big bad Osama was receiving treatment from an American medical centre for his kidney disease while it was happening. What a web of lies and all those innocent people paid with their lives, and for what?

Is this the conspiracy theory stuff? That there were no planes? I haven't had time to watch the stuff.

If is is, it is total cobblers.

Right up there with all the crap about no Jews dying on the day, and the Towers falling being shown in Wingdings.

Meant to say as well, Loose Change has a really interesting part about several skyscrapers that were gutted by huge fires but the inner core of steel didn't melt. That the airplane fuel exploded on impact so there couldn't have been that much left, that there was an explosion just before the impact of both planes (in the French documentary film and many film of the second plane.)

Can you tell dh and I have spent ages discussing this.

Bad enough we went to "war" with Iraq for no real reason.

But the construction of the WTC buildings was flawed which menat that they would collapse in the event of fire.

watched a few mins of it and its very interesting. some of the things raised are things that dp and i have talked about since.

Y'see, it sounds awful, but this is why I can't make head nor tail of it all. There is so much conflicting information and I just don't have the time to take it all in and try to work it out! I don't know how we can believe anything we read or see at all.

The debunking piece says "as eyewitness reports indicate, the plane crashed and skidded along the ground before striking the Pentagon" - Loose Change shows an aerial picture of ground where another plane had crashed and skidded, and says the grass outside the Pentagon was untouched (no aerial pictures of the site though) - ????

Agree with martianbishop - tis all bolleaux. I'm 12 mins into watching and will watch more though, just to convince myself it's the swinging testicles of fantasists.

The thing about conspiracy theories is that they're terribly seductive. We can just allow ourselves to believe in it because it just might be true. How exciting to try to recapture that type of belief. Tooth fairy, anyone?

Did anyone else notice the discrepancy in the voiceover and the documents shown, particularly with dates?

And is anyone else laughing so much their fat ass lollopped them off the chair when the voice of conservative reason Hunter S Thomson was interviewed?!

The towers completely collapsing just does not make sense to me!

And the film with Bin laden admitting he had organised the action shows a man claiming to be bin laden - Bin Laden is left handed and this man Clearly was not - and looks nothing like him

I don't know the truth but I do know it is not as clear cut as Bush would like us to believe

no marks on the ground wihere the plane would haVE skidded, only one hole in the Pentagon. Two rolls royce engines missing

So Pentagon plane disintegrated, and other planes that have crashed into buildings, mountains, other large immovable objects didn't completely disintegrate so not even the tail fin was left because?

I hadn't really thought of a conspiracy seriously before watching these but there are too many incidents. Particulary the Pentagon plane, no cctv, no wreckage, no real damage done to the building that would indicate a plane of that size had hit it and the damage done more bomb like than big-plane-hit-it like, the angle it came in on.

Just so many mistakes. I suppose I wouldn't really think of them if I had any sense but can't help it, don't really believe in conspiracies as such but this one is compelling. Even the one where the passengers fought back. I wonder where the plane passengers really ended up, hate to think of it.

Nutty, there were planes, just not the ones that were supposed to have hit the buildings. It seems to big a thing to pull off, but then again, it could be done.
