I did it yonks ago (origional threads Wink) , have drunk alot of tea slipped since then and really want to start it again as it really seemed to work for me :) I am going to blitz as much as I can before the 1st (tree/decs away tonight etc.) so I am starting as much as I can with a clean sheet :) Anyone a lapsed flyer (or whatever we call ourselves) or wants to be a domestic goddess (Hmm) as of the 1st? Morning everyone!
Long go easy on that back - time to delegate definitely.
bessie how long have you got to go now (if you are not sick of answering that question)? I hope your night alone was not to dull.
I actually had a night with my dh which was very nice after weeks of long hours. Grin We got a babysitter and went to see "Paul" at the cinema. We are trying to relax a bit more this weekend as things are a bit grim here just now. Sad
I have been keeping up with the sink etc but some other things have slipped since my massive clean on Monday. I did a run round yesterday before the babysitter came so it is not too bad in the public rooms Grin

bessie26 · 05/03/2011 22:10

Sorry to hear you're having a rough time carrots, hope things get better for you soon. A night out at the cinema sounds lovely, have you got anything else planned?

I'm 34wks, so officially 6 weeks to go, however DD arrived at 33+5, so it could be any day! Shock

I was doing really well at the missions etc a few weeks ago, but have got very tired this last week & am really struggling to do anything more than the basics. I guess I shouldn't really be surprised, but am finding it very annoying... I really wanted to get the detailed cleaning done everywhere so I could get away with not doing anything for a few months once the baby arrives!

long hope you've been good & not overdone it this weekend?

Carrotsandcelery · 07/03/2011 11:32

Good morning everyone!
I hope we are all refreshed by the weekend and ready to fly this week.
I am all fired up today and have just spent 2 hours tidying the dcs bedrooms, even down to sorting out their drawers! Shock
Ds still has a frightening pile of miscellaneous rubbish treasure at the bottom of his bed but other than that they are far more habitable than they were this morning. Grin
Ds has a friend coming to play on Friday so lets see if it is still habitable by then and (more to the point) after then! Hmm
Dh started decluttering the garage yesterday without me even mentioning it.Shock Grin He has filled the boot of my car with cardboard for the tip so I am off to empty it and walk the dog. (It is glorious sunshine and blue skies here so it should be fab).
Then I will have to rescue the kitchen from the chaos dd created with her school project and THEN, I will have to think about the home blessing. Shock That may need to wait until tomorrow.

Today is obviously home blessing day and our zone for the week is here, the kitchen - I feel like I have just finished this one but hopefully this time it won't take me weeks.

Today's mission is not updated yet. I will have to go and check my email and see if it is there.

I hope everyone is recharged and ready to do this this week. I feel I have been flagging a bit but the Spring sunshine is reviving me. Let's keep it up.
What is everyone up to? Motivate me by telling me what you have done! [evangelistic let's get going emoticon]

bessie26 · 07/03/2011 12:25

Glorious sunshine here too, so 2 loads of washing on the line and DD & I went for a walk to the veg shop to buy lunch. Quick home blessing planned for this afternoon while she naps, then off to play with my NCT group!

Carrotsandcelery · 07/03/2011 13:30

Today's mission is to scrub the kitchen worktops, even under the toaster etc, moving anything you have on the worktops a bit at a time as you go along.

I do this every day anyway so don't need to panic about this one. [smug emoticon]

That said, I am about to declutter/room rescue the kitchen after dd's project work and the general weekend's accumulation of "stuff". I am chucking on a load of washing first though as after doing the dcs rooms I have a lot all of a sudden Hmm

Dosey · 07/03/2011 20:38

well I have done todays mission which is normally part of my home blessing so thats one less job this week. Flylady has tricked me this week. I thought after doing zone 5 we would be back straight to zone 1. She certainly keeps us on our toes!!!! Hope we are all well, a good start to the week, what with the sunshine, the washing drying on the line and my mission and routines all done. Well done me!!!!

Carrotsandcelery · 07/03/2011 20:59

Well done Dosey

Carrotsandcelery · 08/03/2011 10:53

Morning all!
Today I am planning to crack on with the scrubbing of the kitchen and also my home blessing and also my ironing...
What has everyone else got planned?
Today's mission is here and it seems a good one to me, but maybe that is just me. Blush
Let us all know how you are getting on and keep us motivated!

Dosey · 08/03/2011 15:53

thank you for the mission carrots, I am about to leave work then pop into the garden and do some planting until dds get home. I am hoping to get todays mission done today. Tuesday is my paperwork day and maybe pop out for a run tonight too, on top of my usual routines. Goodness me I think more maltesers are in order!!!

Carrotsandcelery · 08/03/2011 22:56

Well, I certainly don't deserve them Dosey. I did an hour of ironing, made the evening meal and did a lot of laundry and then my Mum phoned - cue nothing else done! Ah well, tomorrow is another day! Grin

Carrotsandcelery · 09/03/2011 11:02

Hello all! How is everyone getting on today? I have dd off school ill but I am still managing to get some flying done. I have scrubbed the worktops, dealt with the dishwasher, done 45 mins ironing, put on a load of washing and hung another load to dry, decluttered and cleaned the kitchen table...
I still have loads to do though as every time I get going someone phones me Grin

Today Kelly would like us to do thishttp://

Today's daily focus is here

Come on everyone who had gone into hiding...jump back on the wagon and pick it up from today!

bessie have you gone into labour? You have vanished! I hope everything is ok.

bessie26 · 09/03/2011 17:17

I'm still here! Just been busy at work!

SharonGless · 09/03/2011 21:47

Hello
Am still here just working loads and not been able to post. Am away for a few days Fri-tues so won't be posting then.
Am still flying but need to focus so please help me.
Decluttering - next step is the oven. Baking trays I have loads of shite ones and I need to do inside of oven too. That is a really yuk job though which is why I have been putting it off.

bessie26 · 09/03/2011 21:51

what I really want to know is, did you all have pancakes yesterday after your practice session last month?
We're having american-style pancakes for breakfast at the weekend (actually, we have them a couple of times a month anyway Blush)

bessie26 · 09/03/2011 21:53

sharon I've got as far as buying the oven-pride - will be asking DH to the shelves etc when he's finished the decorating!

Carrotsandcelery · 09/03/2011 22:54

Hurrah! I thought you had all abandoned me! I was scared to mention the pancakes yesterday incase I got lynched Blush Maybe we need to set a day, like pancake day, for oven cleaning and do it as a nation, or at least as a thread.

I am so glad everyone is still flying. Grin

bessie26 · 09/03/2011 22:58

Btw, have you seen this thread?

Carrotsandcelery · 10/03/2011 10:59

That sounds like a useful idea. Get us all together as well as having our own threads.

Carrotsandcelery · 10/03/2011 12:28

How is everyone getting on today?
I have hoovered everywhere downstairs (except the study that we are not talking about), dealt with the dishwasher, made tonight's tea (not sure about it Hmm ), decluttered the kitchen (yet again), cleaned the worktops (again), put on washing, hung up washing, folded an Everest of washing, scrubbed the kitchen table, cleaned the vanity tops in the bathroom, cleaned the kitchen windowsill (is massive), made the beds... Phew!
I need to finish my home blessing and catch up on this week's missions though.
Today's mission is here

Today's daily focus is here

Let us know how you get on.

bessie26 · 11/03/2011 09:09

No work for me today, so off to do a class with DD this morning & then time for a serious catch-up on routine & missions this arvo!

Did manage to scrub some of the workflow while DD was having her umpteenth bowl of cereal (still got the dining table in the kitchen), dishwasher on, cleaner chucked into both loos & am hoping to get a load of laundry on the line & maybe more in the machine before we go out...

Catch up later

Carrotsandcelery · 11/03/2011 09:47

An impressive start bessie! I have also put on the dishwasher, washing machine, swished a bit, made beds, all that sort of stuff. I am just heading out and dcs have friends coming this afternoon so I suspect chaos is coming my way Grin

Dosey · 11/03/2011 21:14

hi all, havent checked in much this week, I seem to have had a busy week, just managed to keep up with my routines and this weeks missions, still need to tackle the home blessing and the cleaning list. I was doing well at the beggining of the week. Well will have a good day tomorrow and see what I can do.

Hope you all have a good weekend x

Longtalljosie · 13/03/2011 14:49

Hi guys, very busy week with family birthdays, was hardly in the house (which meant it wasn't that dirty!) but have a pile of ironing to tackle, am putting it off! Work Mon and Tues but will be back with you on Weds xx

Carrotsandcelery · 13/03/2011 15:28

Good to see you Long. I hope it has all been fun. The dcs are currently trashing the kitchen with yet another school project. They are costing us a fortune and causing enormous amounts of cleaning up. I am all for learning through play/building/experiencing etc but surely we don't need one of these projects every weekend? And I only have 2 dcs. What about the families with 4 or more??

Longtalljosie · 13/03/2011 17:12

I've got a casserole in the oven with jacket potatoes which is fab as it means I now just get to doss about for an hour waiting for it to be done Grin
