Majorca - if the flights are ok by then which I’m guessing they won’t be. 😢. Also hoping Spain lower their covid requirements as don’t want the stress of taking tests and getting boosters )if we’re allowed them!)

Onlyaprawninwhitby · 11/06/2022 17:22

We're driving to France. A week in Brittany and a week in Paris. So excited, not been away since 2019!

waltzingparrot · 11/06/2022 17:24

Spain by ferry, so I'm hoping the travelling might be a bit less stressful than flying.

I listen to a Spanish vlogger who's saying there is currently a shortage of milk and coffees are hard to come by, plus they also have the massive shortage of hospitality staff too, so food service can be very slow.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 11/06/2022 17:25

Just had a week on the east Neuk of Fife and have a fortnight in Mallorca and a week in Ibiza booked too.

CaptainTroy · 11/06/2022 17:31

Sweden for a weekend, then Portugal with all the kids and DH for a week. Am very nervous about flying because of COVID and delays but very keen to go. Also Cornwall for a few weeks.

Also booked Mauritius for next May - I’m treating my son as he’s 30 soon.

Ohbuggeritsme · 11/06/2022 17:34

Wow - how exciting!

Is this number of holidays a result of being unable to travel for the last few years or is this the norm for you?

Ohbuggeritsme · 11/06/2022 17:35

@Onlyaprawninwhitby you will love Brittany. We went 3 years ago and I can't wait to go back x

We never got asked once about our vaccine status when we went a fortnight ago.

Probably nowhere at this rate. For all I work in travel and could happily spend all day every day looking for holidays for other people, when it comes to looking for ours I just find it stressful.

VestPantsandSocks · 11/06/2022 17:40

Cornwall in June.
Paris in July.
Dubai in November.
😀

cliffdiver · 11/06/2022 17:41

We went to Norfolk in February half term, Rye at Easter and Spain in June half term.

Over the summer, we'll do a few UK camping breaks.

DH wants to do Euro Disney in October half term.

We usually do a UK stay in December, but haven't booked anything yet.

Chanel05 · 11/06/2022 17:41

Went to Florida in February and going again to Florida next month.

DontCallMeBaby · 11/06/2022 17:43

Aw thank you @snowstorm2012! I’ll go find it … may be the same one, but I found one earlier with some interesting stuff about escalation. I do have a slightly reassuring bit of info from a former HMPO person that replacing lost passports always takes longer (DD had hers back weeks ago, mine was lost).

ivykaty44 · 11/06/2022 17:44

Devon
Cape Verde - tbh booked before chaos with flights
devon
portugal, but not flying

16 days in France staying in Le Mans overnight, then near Bergerac overnight then 14 nights in gite in the Lot region just north of Agen. Cannot wait!

I have stayed in this area, it’s beautiful. The night markets are fun and Bordeaux is well worth a visit.

Oh really? We are 2 vaccinated adults but not sure if we will need to do a pcr as possibly our boosters will have been too long ago, a non vaccinated teen who will need a pcr and an under 12 who won’t need anything. I’m just hoping that we don’t have to rush around getting pcr’s. Would be nice if they scrap the requirements like the uk have.

70kid · 11/06/2022 18:05
