I have had horrible pains all day..... they feel like periiod pains. As the day has progressed they have been getting worse and worse.

Nurofen isnt touching it. Im totally exhausted by it and just want to sleep. Im sat here crying because I dont know what to do. I took painkillers nearly an hour ago anf they just arent working and I just want to sleep.

although watch that you don't get bunged up with the codeine, cos that is also painful...

spookycharlotte121 · 19/04/2010 01:18

its better if I press on it. It is totally on my left side now.... it was more across the whole fromt of my tummy before but now seems concentrated.
There is a bit of back pain in the correlating to the front pain. Its not much different to before i came on.

I txt my mum thinking she would get it in the morning but it woke her and she is on her way over.

My last period was fine.... nothing really abnormal.

true it's bad for poo blockage.

prune juice.

spookycharlotte121 · 19/04/2010 01:23

I do have pain sometimes when having sex although when I spoke to a dr he thought thaat was probs due to having had a 3rd degree tear with ds. I never got it with exp but with my bf after him things were certainly very uncomfortable. again going for a poo can be an issue at times but again I think thtas due to the extencive repair work I had to have done with ds. Dd was born just under a year lter so I dont reaally think that helped the healing process as it had all seemingly gone bck to normal then pow we were back to square one minus the tear.

appendix pain is usually right sided (unless you have unusual displacement/long appendix) so that's unlikely.

off to bed. hope it dies down and you get some kip.

spookycharlotte121 · 19/04/2010 01:28

Thanks for all your advice. Im praying that is stops. Im exhausted.

pain passing bowel motions and during intercourse are classic signs of endometriosis.

i would raise it with your gp. unfortunately a laparoscopy is the only way to diagnose it.

blinks · 19/04/2010 01:28

properly off now x

ScaredOne · 19/04/2010 01:28

It's good your mum is coming over! I hope you feel better soon

spookycharlotte121 · 19/04/2010 01:31

some how I dont think the paracetamol is going to work.... if anything its getting worse. god this is unbarable

benign growths (completely harmless) of the uterus tissue. Lots of people have them. They respond to oestrogen, and can grow/shrink. If they outgrow their blood supply they can 'die a bit' causing intense pain. You'd need an ultrasound to diagnose this tho obviously.

ScaredOne · 19/04/2010 01:33

Why is the doctor not coming now?

spookycharlotte121 · 19/04/2010 01:33

Im feeling really sick too.

Bless you! am going to bed now - hope you get sorted asap and good to know you'll have someone with you. Good luck

ellasmum1 · 19/04/2010 01:34

maybe you should get your mum to take you to a&e

cheesebaby · 19/04/2010 01:34

Get that doc out or go to A&E

spookycharlotte121 · 19/04/2010 01:36

she said I would have to go there which would be impossible with 2 children. Dd just woke and it was painful enough to lift her god knows what it would be like with ds who is twice her size and I would have to get down a flight of stairs with them too.
I told her there was no waay I could with the kids and so she said to reassess the situation in an hour adn to take some paracetamol.

Get the doctor to come or have your mum stay with dcs and go to A&E. It doesn't sound normal.

AitchTwoZone · 19/04/2010 01:37

is the doc coming or not?

AitchTwoZone · 19/04/2010 01:38

oh right. look, this is silly, you have to be seen by a doctor. call them back and get them to send someone.

spookycharlotte121 · 19/04/2010 01:39

She is on her way over now. So relieved she is coming.

I think its stupid to tell someone to take paracetamol.... it doesnt work onn normala period pain so what the heck is it going to do now when im inn agony. Think my endorphines are beginnning to kick in a little

My mum will be here in a mo so I will get her to call.
Thankyou for all staying and chatting to me. I think I would have had a panic attack coping alone.

AitchTwoZone · 19/04/2010 01:44

no worries, i'm glad your mum is coming.

ScaredOne · 19/04/2010 01:49

Has your mum arrived yet?
