how fab Boco

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 19/04/2010 20:39

I need to get in the zone again. The problem is I see that I am losing weight and I'm quite pleased with myself, so I think 'well as I'm doing so well I'll have a piece of cake.' Then that one piece of cake turns back into one piece of cake everyday. However my f&v intake has improved since being back on the thread.

I don't tell anyone that I'm changing my diet, not even dh. As soon as you do that people start scrutinising me and I don't like that.

weetiflakes with milk and chopped banana
ham sandwich with cucumber sticks, tomatoes and grapes.
victoria sandwich - gah!
apple
veg pizza (which was shite) with rocket salad, radishes, tomatoes, cucumber and cous cous salad.

Probably about 8-9 portions.

Yoga starts again a week today. I can't wait tbh. I can already tell that I'm not as supple as I was a few weeks ago.

Get the trainers Fra. They're too important, you must look after your joints.

I need to think of some goals .........

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 19/04/2010 20:40

Hurrah for the first day at work Boco

Brilliant, Boco!

Biscuits x3
pineapple

ryvita
egg/salad cream
salad
few crisps

apple
rice cakes
3 figs

macaroon mini

tofu and mixed veg stir fry
cherry yoghurt

Boco · 19/04/2010 22:01

muesli

salad and chicken wrap
large fruit salad
fruit juice

3 crackers and cheese

salmon with green beans, carrots and peas
fruit juice
low fat yoghurt

Several hours of being a swaying tree/ marching/ being a river monster etc.

That's not bad is it?

CoupleofKooks · 19/04/2010 22:26

ooh get you with your green beans
i am really jealous of your job boco!
and of guad's stir fry

OP posts:
CoupleofKooks · 19/04/2010 22:28

oh guad i have just heard my sis and family have been stranded also
like you i had not clicked on

OP posts:
CoupleofKooks · 20/04/2010 08:54

right were these the scores for the week? have i missed anyone?:

Boco - 1 lb - possibly from fingers
Guad - 3 lb (v good)
pointy - 1 lb - don't knock it, it's a start!
franny - nothing
molly - undeclared
lemur - undeclared
pink, avi, tiger and co - notably absent on weigh in day

well it could be worse but obviously some of us need to pull our fingers out
or pull our stomachs in or something

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 20/04/2010 09:25

ha ha, we are so self-absorbed with the size of our arses we forget about our families stranded in global crisis.

It was a very nice stir-fry I must say. Smoked tofu with teriyaki sauce, spinach, chilli, chestnut mushrooms, peppers, red onion, sugar snaps, coriander and my yoghurt was even nicer, low fat but still creamy with a separate side helping of cherry compote.

Guadalupe · 20/04/2010 09:36

I have the whole day to myself today. What a treat.

elliemental · 20/04/2010 13:29

CoK - you ca put me down as Any Weight Loss At All gratefully Accepted...

Today:
Porridge
Banana
large fruit salad with pineapple, melon, strawberries and grapes,
1 fat free yog
1 large salad with tuna, red onion, kidney beans, carrot, peppers, spinach, lettuce, olives.

that's gotta be a 10?

cycled to work and have also notched up 4000 steps on me ol' pedometer.

Bootcamp, see?

I even turned down cake at work.

Dinner will be Mediterranean roasted lamb with courgette, mushrooms, lemon, tomatoes, apricot, chickpeas and cous cous.

I can't keep this up, can I?

elliemental · 20/04/2010 13:30

by the way, rofl at Guad ''ha ha, we are so self-absorbed with the size of our arses we forget about our families stranded in global crisis.''

Guadalupe · 20/04/2010 17:00

You can keep it up, elli, that sounds like a very good and very healthy diet.

I have bought these shoes today and now I don't know if I like them or not. The bottom picture is the best one, you can't really see the black sole when they are on. Are they a bit clumpy?

banana
apple
almonds

ryvitas
ham
salad
chutney

turkey
apple
handful of chilli nuts

Dinner with be my smoked salmon spagheti thing with asparagus and spinach.

elliemental · 20/04/2010 17:15

i really like 'em, but then i tend to like rocket dog...cool and comfy

Guadalupe · 20/04/2010 17:17

yes, really I am looking for the ones they did a few years ago, more of a ballet pump with stretchy bits and the red was lace patterned. I LOVED them

I am not sure if these are a bit clowny

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 20/04/2010 18:27

just a quick one as I'm off out to a committee meeting tonight.

crumpet
banana
rocket salad, carrot falafel, cucumber sticks, humus and guacamole.
apple
grapes
chilli (heavy on the mushrooms, onions, tomatoes and various beans) and rice.

I have EVIL ovulation pain today and it's making me grumpy.

CoupleofKooks · 20/04/2010 18:28

oh i'm another rocketdog fan
i like them guad they are a brilliant colour

i have bought orthotic flip flops from a thread where they were recommended
they are so not pretty but tbh i am just excited they are flip flops and i might be able to wear them!!

have also bought hideous white trainers and been for wk 4 robcast run in them
bits of my legs feel a bit dicey, eg one shin and one knee - i don't know what is normal though, i am nervy about my feet and knees
the run itself was fine - 3 mins running 90 secs walking, then 5 mins running 2.5 mins walking, then repeated
it was not too hard so i am chuffed

pointydog · 20/04/2010 18:35

whey hey. I weighed myself first thing this morning and again in the evening (in case of serious error) and I am 11st 4 now which means I have lost 4lb since the start.

That's more like it. I was big time strict yesterday.

Today:

one weetabix with milk
banana
small portion noodles and chicken stir fry
banana
bowl heinz tomato soup
tuna (briny variety) and pickled beetroot, mixed

about 6 portions in total which seems to be the norm for me these days.

pointydog · 20/04/2010 18:36

I like rocket dog too. My big wide feet do not share my liking

littlerach · 20/04/2010 19:47

Like the shoes Guad, I love red shoes.

I am lisitng out of shame
Muesli
Donut
peanut butter snadwich
grapes
banana
pear
veg chilli with beans, peppers, onions and sweetocrn
lemon curd muffin
half an easter egg.

And i may eat more.

I am due on (actually overdue) so that si my excuse.

Yesterday was much better

TigerFeet · 20/04/2010 21:07

I can't wear rocket dog either, too narrow. I like yours Guad.

However I am now the proud owner of a pair of these

I made a stew for tea which was loaded with quinoa and broccoli and all sorts of other good stuff but it went wrong and was minging - cue emergency trip to the chippy

I have however lost two pounds. I have been eating less and doing more. It's all going to pot this week though as my sister is here and she keeps buying chocolate.

Boco the job sounds great, do you have room for me?

CoupleofKooks · 20/04/2010 21:08

i want a lemon curd muffin
was it one of those ones that nestle in the paper wrapping and have a lemon curd centre?
i bloody love those

pointy wahoo! you and guad are keeping this thread respectable

i am really hungry but i have loads to do this evening so may not get around to snacking
that would be a good thing i guess

cereal and fruit (3)
cheese roll, quorn roll, pear (1)
lemon cookies
macaroni cheese, red cabbage, carrots, sweetcorn, peas (4)
half a banana (i threw the other half at dp, because i was cross about something and standing ranting and eating a banana, and he said 'you look sexy standing there looking all petulant'
he was lucky it was only a banana i was and

OP posts:
CoupleofKooks · 20/04/2010 21:09

tiger 2 lbs is great! the shoes are cute
everyone has cute shoes except me, who has ugly shoes

OP posts:
TigerFeet · 20/04/2010 21:16

I'm sure you have fabulous shoes Fran

Did you get him with the banana? I am imagining him with it impaled on his nose somehow

Am chuffed with the loss

Just need to keep it up, it's easy enough for a week but long term is harder
