Thought I would start this as the other one was getting really long.

Since I started the other thread I have lots a few pounds, put them back on, lost them etc etc etc. Finally realised that I need to do something about it after this last week of chocolate and crap, went out today for lunch and ate far too much.

On Monday I am going to Rosemary Conleys, i did go before but the time didn't really suit me, but this one finished and starts earlier so I can go when DH is at work while my mum has ds. So I am really going for it now.

Congrats on the ones who joined me last time and have actually managed to lose weight. Watch this space.....

Weighed in today and gained 4 lbs over past fortnight. It is due to the wine I have been consuming ( and not counting). Will cut it out for a week.

Rosiemum · 15/05/2003 16:47

I got on the scales today to find I've now shed a whole stone!!!

A stone in three weeks - not bad.. another three to go!

Mum2Toby · 15/05/2003 16:56

I chickened out of my weigh-in.

Well done Rosiemum!

breeze · 15/05/2003 17:53

Well done rosiemum, you must be so pleased.

I myself have been very good day, so for once the diet starts today, rather then tomorrow.

Rosiemum well done, you have lost the same amount as me but with a different diet, I am using WeightWatchers Online.

Keep up the good work.

eidsvold · 15/05/2003 19:39

how are you going Chiccadum - i have lost 17 1/2 pounds so far on ww... love the range of choice - thatis anything provided you plan for it....

willow2 · 15/05/2003 22:58

Lost about another 1/2 stone since the Atkins 1/2 stone - got three weeks before hols and want to shift as much as possible but will settle for another 1/2. God my life is dull without chocolate.

sb34, Are you going for a particular diet or just cutting down?

OP posts:
SamboM · 16/05/2003 09:26

I've put on 2lbs

Again due to wine I think and a big pack of choc buttons.

Oh well, back to the drawing board!

Chiccadum · 16/05/2003 11:50

Hi eidsvold, I'm still doing well, it's hard though, I love some of the new stuff that ww have brought out, but find some of their ready meals quite watery, I get things like Good For You Lasagne from Asda instead of ww it's about 90p cheaper and one point extra but worth it as it's so much nicer

eidsvold · 16/05/2003 18:27

Chiccadum - i rarely buy the ready meals.. although beef hotpot is my favourite.. however I have the food in a flash recipe book - brilliant with meals for one/two and then family meals.. we love the recipes we have tried in that one - i guess you can get it online?!?!

Rosiemum · 18/05/2003 18:45

Another 2lb lost - down to 14st 5lb. Still a long way to go, but a quarter of the way there now.

Chiccadum · 18/05/2003 20:36

Eidsvold, thanks for that i might try it

megg · 19/05/2003 09:21

After a disaster of a week foodwise (my excuse is that it was my TOTM) I managed to redeem myself with exercise and lose 2lb. I'm going to try really hard this week as I have a birthday party and wedding reception to go to in July so I would like to be down to more acceptable size. Good luck everyone.

JanZ · 19/05/2003 09:24

Back to 10st 12lb - so one pound down on the week, but neutral over the last two weeks. Given that I had a fantastic anniversary meal out on Friday night - no calories spared - I can't really complain!

PS For the Scots out there, I'd really recommend Dining Room on Byres Road. The food was was great, and for a special meal out, it wasn't TOO expensive!

breeze · 19/05/2003 09:42

After my I will try hard this week, I have had more bad days then good days. Will have to see what happens tonight

I haven't dared to get on the scales yet. Just had the most fantastic night away with dh, left dd and the dog with my parents and stayed in a lovely hotel, scoffed everything in sight and drank lots too, so I have written off last week. Back on it today though. Only 6 weeks left till dd's christening so must lose a stone by then.

Strangely, everyone is suddenly saying that I look like i've lost lots of weight (I haven't). Does your body suddenly decide to change shape and get back to normal after 8 months? I must say my tummy is much flatter but I haven't been doing any exercise to speak of

Chiccadum · 19/05/2003 15:49

Had 4th weigh in this morning and and lost another 4lb making 18lb in 4 week.

SamboM · 19/05/2003 16:20

Can you come round and be my personal motivation advisor? How do you do it?

breeze · 19/05/2003 19:31

Lost another 2 lbs, which I am very pleased about.

OP posts:
breeze · 23/05/2003 17:08

How are we all doing?

I have not been bad this week, then again not good either, but I have a week off as its Bank holiday. (Rc not the diet).

Megg????????????????????

eidsvold · 23/05/2003 18:19

lost another two pounds this week .... almost a stone and a half gone....

Rosiemum · 23/05/2003 20:57

Off to Ireland tomorrow for a half term break, but weight loss currently 1 stone 4lb, current weight 14st 4lb. I aim for stability this coming week - not to loose any, but not to put any back on again.

Good luck all
