Thought I would start this as the other one was getting really long.

Since I started the other thread I have lots a few pounds, put them back on, lost them etc etc etc. Finally realised that I need to do something about it after this last week of chocolate and crap, went out today for lunch and ate far too much.

On Monday I am going to Rosemary Conleys, i did go before but the time didn't really suit me, but this one finished and starts earlier so I can go when DH is at work while my mum has ds. So I am really going for it now.

Congrats on the ones who joined me last time and have actually managed to lose weight. Watch this space.....

I've had a bad day today. Went to a kid's birthday party so the first thing I had when I got in was a glass of wine for my headache. Then dp persuaded me to have a Domino's pizza, ok I admit I didn't take much persuading, so I'm way over my points today. I haven't worked out either. I'm determined to get back on track tomorrow though.

SamboM · 05/05/2003 21:20

OK chinchilla, it'll have to be IV feeding, sure chocolate would kill you if you mainlined it...

willow2 · 05/05/2003 21:33

SamboM - can I recommend Basilica pizzas? Upper Richmond Road, SW14 - bloody lovely and much better than Dominos!

SamboM · 06/05/2003 11:26

I ordered one once and it was soggy and sloppy, maybe just got a bad day?

SamboM · 06/05/2003 11:26

And another thing, I'm trying not to eat pizza!!

willow2 · 06/05/2003 15:51

oh yeah, sorry.

SamboM · 06/05/2003 16:03

Going much better today, just went out at lunchtime and bought some new linen trousers that fit, rather than the baggy ones that hang off me that I wore when I was pg. Feeling much happier about life, amazing what a pair of trousers can do lol!

breeze · 06/05/2003 16:24

Well today I have been really good and just come back from a massive walking session, feel much better.

Sambom, not it isn't sad, I am going out on Saturday night and really chuffed because the skirt I have not been able to wear for a while fits, and I don't mean I can do it up and wear it...as long as I don't breathe, it actually fits.

Chiccadum - what a star! Well done you...

Chinchilla · 06/05/2003 21:33

Chiccadum - you're an inspiration! Sadly, I need a bomb under my backside to get me going at the moment

Mum2Toby · 06/05/2003 21:37

Chiccadum!! WOW. Well done. I get weighed tomorrow... might have lost a pound or 2.

Tortington · 06/05/2003 21:37

i ate a full ginger cake.....for breakfast!

Chinchilla · 06/05/2003 21:38

Custardo - go girl! Yesterday I had a whole tub of chocolate ice cream, a piece of cake, a slab of toffee and a bag of Dolly Mixtures...oops

willow2 · 06/05/2003 21:43

Chiccadum - talk about source of inspiration. How have you done it? Are you following the Atomic Kitten diet (don't eat) or breastfeeding triplets? I've got four weeks to go before my holiday so any pointers gratefully accepted!

JanZ · 07/05/2003 08:47

That's fantastic Chiccadum! Keep it going - you're an inspiration to us all!

Mum2Toby · 07/05/2003 08:52

I get weighed this evening.

Then I can have an Indian takeaway!!

PandaBear · 07/05/2003 09:29

Hi All - well I disappeared for a couple of weeks. Went away for a weekend, and not feeling 100% so naturally the diet went out the window. Started again yesterday. Still want to lose a stone before the summer. Well done to all of you who are sticking to it!!!

megg · 07/05/2003 11:35

I'm working out five nights a week so I'm hoping any extras that I have will get worked off. Yesterday I bought the Nell McAndrew video and oh my God its tough, can well recommend it. Tonight I will have to take it easy and do a Rosemary Conley video. I'm not being too bad on my diet and things are going well most of the time. Well done Chiccadum.

Twink · 07/05/2003 18:30

Excellent Chiccadum.

Megg, when I was trying to shift my lard I used to base all my exercise around cans of lager/glasses of wine ie 20 mins on a crosstrainer or walking on max incline on a treadmill burns off around 200 cals which equals 1 can of lager or a large glass of wine. I'd try to do the exercise in advance but it didn't always work...

I also used to do it for pizza but that was harder work !

Breeze, just in case you don't see the 'other' thread, good luck for Sunday, let us know how you get on !

Chiccadum · 07/05/2003 20:28

Thanks everyone for your comments, I'm doing weight watchers online (points) going to the gym three or four times a week, walking everywhere instead of getting taxis and if I get on a bus I get off the bus one stop earlier

SamboM · 07/05/2003 21:20

May I just say that Total 0% fat Greek yogurt is about the best thing ever invented. In the past week I have had it about 10 different ways

Eg

Anything with mayo eg that pink sauce you make for prawns, tuna mayo, egg mayo etc for sarnies, use a tiny bit of mayo and loads of yogurt and it tastes exactly the same (esp if you put lemon juice, salt & pepper, horseradish etc in it)

On top of stewed rhubarb, raspberries, anything in fact.

In place of cream in hot recipes

I suggest you all try it

Mum2Toby · 07/05/2003 21:37

Well.....twas the big weigh-in tonight.... and I lost 1 and a half pounds!! Despite polishing of about 3 bottles of wine, having an Indian Takeaway and a meal out on Sunday (had cheesecake for dessert)!! Couldn't believe it.

chuffed<

SamboM - what a great idea!
