For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

The bastards. Let me at 'em.

hello

TooTicky · 03/04/2009 18:50

oh dear my ears have fallen off

ahundredtimes · 03/04/2009 18:59

Hello! Is Friday! Am going to London with ds2 tomorrow.

I clicked on unanswered messages and there was this really sad post with a lady crying and wondering if it upset her 17 week old. Someone with a baby go and talk to her, I felt really sorry for her.

Tattoos make me feel claustraphobic

TooTicky · 03/04/2009 19:02

It's okay 100x, we won't tattoo you

Have fun in London

TooTicky · 03/04/2009 19:03

Somebody will talk to her 100x but I am not the right person

ahundredtimes · 03/04/2009 19:06

Poor old her, was such a sad little post.

The thing about tattoos I don't get is that they are done by someone else. That's what makes me claustraphobic. It's like someone else's drawing on you all the time.

TooTicky · 03/04/2009 19:14

I'm far too indecisive to have a tattoo...to choose something that would be on me forever.

TooTicky · 03/04/2009 19:15

I will end up feeling guilty and answering the sad little post. Badly.
Where is somebody nice and capable/

ahundredtimes · 03/04/2009 19:20

Oh someone else has answered now, I did reply too, her small sadness has not been over looked. You are let off TooT!

I want to know how Wombling's dd is getting on.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 03/04/2009 19:22

What is it under?

TooTicky · 03/04/2009 19:22

Good.

Guadalupe · 03/04/2009 19:34

Is it just ds2, 100? I like doing things with them one at a time. Seems less like a rabble. What will you do there?

Guadalupe · 03/04/2009 19:36

I know what you mean about tattoos. have one that I had done when I was 15. I would like it gone but I am waiting until laser surgery is good enough! You can't see it in my weddng photos thankfully.

ahundredtimes · 03/04/2009 19:41

Brother is taking him to an Arsenal match, as his christmas present, I am going to stare in shop windows, and then at ds2's request we are going to Imperial War Museum to look at severed limbs in the WW1 trench and uniforms and battlegrounds and hear bombs. Thrilling weekend really, if you're a 9y-o no?

Guadalupe · 03/04/2009 19:43

Yes, I should think so! Ds1 is an avid Arsenal fan too. I don't know why he decided on them in particular, seemed fairly arbitrary. I have had to suffer the Emirates stadium.

Guadalupe · 03/04/2009 19:44

Is he really nine? I thought he was seven or eight for somne reason but then of course dds are seven now.

Guadalupe · 03/04/2009 19:46

I will be spending tomorrow at an architectural salvage auction. Again.

We got this great victorian loo and the plumber whistled through his teeth and said ooh no, can't use that as the waste pipe comes out of the bottom and the floor is concreted and the joists upstairs are in the wrong place.

I don't see why they can't put it on a platform downstairs like a little throne. I think it will be hilarious.

twice

ahundredtimes · 03/04/2009 19:50

Yes, a platform with steps. Will be perfect.

I'd like to go to salvage auctions, it sounds good fun. Are we going to have photo updates on house? How is collage coming along?

Yes 9! I know. Everyone so old suddenly. DS1 and DS2 went to the cinema on their own this afternoon. I felt a bit odd sending them off, saying they'd be fine, not to hurry back I had work to do.

Guadalupe · 03/04/2009 19:52

Montage, you mean.

I know, I am crap. I can't believe you want to see it really, various stages of rubble and wotnot. Anyway, it might be like LoveActually and there won't be much house but the young builder being in every one.

Ds1 has been to the cinema with a friend and that seemed qute scary. He has started wearing deoderant too. Very odd.

Guadalupe · 03/04/2009 19:54

Of course, the taller man will have to duck from the pitched roof but this doesn't concern me too greatly. I am pleased with my loo it has blue flowers on it and everything. They are a fortune n the yards and we got it for a snip. Otherwise it will be an expensive planter.

ahundredtimes · 03/04/2009 19:58

It sounds lovely, it MUST be installed on raised platform. Tall men can and should stoop and crouch more often imo. [chippy short person emoticon]

I can't WAIT to see the montage! I love things like that. LOL to builder doing proper manly work in every shot though.

Must go and do things now, and pack a bag for me and ds2.

TooTicky · 03/04/2009 19:59

Ooh, is 100x short too? I hadn't realised.

Guadalupe · 03/04/2009 20:00

Yes, go and pack your weekend things. That sounds very glamorous. I hope you have fun.

I will go and, um, pack my tape measure and pencil to hold up in a serious yet nonchalent manner over the pew I have my eye on.
