For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

TigerFeet · 08/03/2009 19:53

lol I had forgotten Ahundredbiros and her puppy toddler training

I bet The Book arrives tomorrow. I have Things To Do all week. No time for getting emotionally involved in books. Oh no.

TonyAlmeida · 08/03/2009 19:55

it is so utterly good.
I am rather proud to know her. and my postman is too.
we had a chat about her.
that is the postie who used tobe a flying picket.

TooTicky · 08/03/2009 20:00

Oh Tony has her recognisable style back

TigerFeet · 08/03/2009 20:02

It has been a good year for books so far. The MN Toddlers guide made me larf - Franny was being funny and FK and FMF were being sensible and I was just whinging on about my problems

And now I vaguely sort of know an actual real life author who doesn't actually exist in RL

Fabulous

Did the postie sing acapella or was he a pinko leftie socialist?

It's not just veggers Tony (love the name ) We have Lurkers

Lettuce, cuc, toms (1)
Carrot
Swede
Broccoli
Parsnips

I will go and have an apple in a minute and that will be my first 10 in ages and I claim an hours sleep instead of 10 mins exercise!

Thinking about going to soft play tomorrow so might get exercise there!

I'm getting on through the book. Wondering what's with Paul and agree that he needs a slap. I'm sure I'll come round to the shoeing in due course. Note to self: avoid Tony's angry book group.

hmm avi, when exactly did you get that password, on receipt of which you were flouncing taking a break?

Tony your secret is safe here. No one would ever guess otherwise.

mollyroger · 08/03/2009 20:13

''A Quango, a quango, it made me eat the Mango!
And Tony A. from 24, he came and danced the tango''

SuperBunny · 08/03/2009 20:14

Avi!

Hello Tony

Um, no f&v at all. I am going out for dinner. I am hoping that Cubans eat piles of veg otherwise it'll be a big fat zero for me today. Oh no, I lie. I had juice. 1

SuperBunny · 08/03/2009 20:14
