For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Hellooo

OsBa happy birthday, hope you aren't feeling too indisposed this morning

Avi I saw GD. I heart Kevin. That house was one of my favouritest yet I think. I want a house where the entrance hall is a boot room and degunging area.

We went to London yesterday - dinosaurs at the NHM followed by a healthsome and wholesome walk from Hyde Park Corner past Buck House to horseguards then across the river to Waterloo station. It was the best day out we've had in ages. DD was an angel all day. She ran through the daffs and crocuses (croci??) on the lawns in the parks and collected sticks 'n' stuff. Funny how we live in the country but went to the city to do stuff like that . I took loads of pics at the NHM but then the battery ran out on my camera and my spares were duff .

100's book yet to arrive

Pink you are amazing, I will email you in Sept for tips.

BBeee sounds good, we love you muchly.

Molly doing comedy namechanges? You do surprise me

mollyroger · 08/03/2009 11:00

ah poo. We had an invite for sunday dinner which has been cancelled Now what can we do today? It would have been very chilled as they have HUGE garden and boys like ours.

Its very grey and blustery here

TigerFeet · 08/03/2009 11:06

Hmmm I was goign to suggest a walk but grey and blustery doesn't sound condusive to that. I have no idea what to do with boys. I do hope I'm having another girl

mollyroger · 08/03/2009 11:20

in the words of that other great MN poster, boys are like dogs. They need lots of excercise. Anf food. And lots of ''good boy!''
Have just suggested to my friend she sends her menfolk over to play with us and we will all go for a walk. Boys + dog + sticks etc.

littlerach · 08/03/2009 11:28

It is v windy here too.

Has anyone seen Australia?
I have it to watch and can't decide if I iwll like it. I know, I should watch it first to decide!!

Pink, you are doing much better than I ever did.

Don't we have a list of titles somewhere?

TigerFeet · 08/03/2009 11:31

Ah yes of course, BALD Boys+dogs+sticks could well be your answer.

Windy here too but with blue skies. If I were organised I'd have pegged out some washing but I doubt it'll dry now.

Watch it LittleRach and let me know if it's any good

SuperBunny · 08/03/2009 17:43

Aw, thanks Franny. I wasn't fishing for a copy. Besides, I have a history of typing my address incorrectly so that parcels get returned to the sender.

LR, please watch Australia and report back.

The clocks changed last night and, although I knew they were going to, I still feel cheated and have an hour less to make my apartment look presentable
