For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Avi - could easily just be forgetfulness, being distracted or perhaps he's about to get ill.

DS2 had a UTI once, and believe me YOU KNOW if it's that. They get a quick high fever, and are in proper, quick let's call the doctor pain esp when they wee, and ds2 held his side a lot too. Honestly, we went to a doctor at midnight, and I never even go to a doctor in the day time with mine, or very rarely. Very rare in boys too. So if no pain when he's peeing then I think it's just him being dizzy.

Am going to read thread now.

Oh and also their willy is sore - very red and swollen at the tip. Check that out.

I love Tony beating up fictional characters. I don't think he'd last five minutes with Tony Almeida. I can't understand what the real TA says, when he came shuffling down those steps at the end of last week just as Jack was relaxing and looking at the sunset.

Boco, hope she's okay tonight. Ring nurse HS tomorrow, regardless.

Erm. What else.

franny, do you know that eczema usually improves when the body is fighting off a real illness (virus etc) rather than just fighting itself and causing eczema?

FrannyandZooey · 08/03/2009 22:34

Avi, is he drinking normally? Eating? Any change in levels of activity?

SuperBunny · 09/03/2009 03:55

Hope he feels ok in the morning, Avi. My friend's DS had no other symptoms of UTI - no pain or anything, which was odd but he did have one. I don't remember if they gave him ABs or not. Probably. Do you know, you can buy AB's in our equivalent of Boots. Just on the shelf

I had black bean soup which I think was just a tin of beans that had been blended

AtillaTheHairyArsedTrucker · 09/03/2009 07:41

Will read thread later...but hello.

Balinitus Avi? sounds a bit like something DS has had.....
