For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

well 100 i thought you prob were not on here when you had toddlers, so you would not hsve said much about eg training pants

however i suspect both you and boco usually get on with the business of having funny and interesting conversations about other things rather than banging on about hiding veg in pasta

that could explain it

FrannyandZooey · 02/02/2009 18:58

ello sb
i thought of you today after being in the snow for about 3 hours
i thought "this could wear quite thin very quickly"

Ah yes, that'd be it. I did have some great top tips about using the cage and the lease restraint technique though.

littlerach · 02/02/2009 19:02

marking for later!

SuperBunny · 02/02/2009 19:04

I have been smiling somewhat at the pictures of snow in the UK. Admittedly it looks like quite a lot more than is usual and the country is not equipped to deal with it so it is not surprising that it seems to have caused chaos. But, it is still a bit amusing how much excitement a relatively small amount of snow can cause. I hope you have been able to enjoy it. I love it the first few times we get any.

Does anyone have contact with Bero? I was thinking about her today.

BBBee · 02/02/2009 19:06

what you mean even 100 robot dancing and sick in mouth isn't in there?

i don't think i would be there and if i am it would be under my older and more prolific name.

i don't really do tips, more shouting and sneering from the side lines.

Boco · 02/02/2009 19:11

No, I guess I don't really do sensible tips either.

FrannyandZooey · 02/02/2009 19:12

my friend from sweden laughs and laughs at this sb
it's a bit crap isn't it
but yes we did enjoy it - it was the most snow we;ve had here for 18 years
last time there was this much snow i was a student nicking tea trays from the university cafe to sledge down the hills on campus

we sledged loads today - well ds1 did
i stood on sidelines with ds2, chatting to all the dads i think dp was only man in town who went to work today

We are too silly and not sufficiently interested in trainer pants. Now aint that the truth.

I think the book is fun though. I am excited about Franny, and I want to know exactly what she said. And TF and Avi.

We can put banners up with their quotes on.

FrannyandZooey · 02/02/2009 19:13

there veggers i saw were avi, me, fk, tigerfeet
there is tons of unattributed stuff there too though

OP posts:
BBBee · 02/02/2009 19:13

no you don;t. you are one of the funniest people i have ever met though.

FrannyandZooey · 02/02/2009 19:14

i said summat gibing at gf
summat about teeth
summat about ds1 coming in too early in the mornings as he can't use a clock

not really that great a contribution to the human store of knowledge is it

FrannyandZooey · 02/02/2009 19:15

agree v funny people left out
but there was not a pram / dog section in this book
maybe in the next one?

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 02/02/2009 19:16

Yes, it's great! I love it.

Guadalupe · 02/02/2009 19:17

You are here. I will repost because it is a thrilling contribution.

--I am about to go to a wholesale cooperative meeting. I am going to look serious and hold my pencil meaningfully and nod with interest when the talk turns to kilos of this and bags of that.

I have looked at the book and it made my brain hurt but I must give it a go.

FrannyandZooey · 02/02/2009 19:18

i felt for foxy though
something about having worms and nits at the same time
just what you want to see attached to your name in print

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 02/02/2009 19:18

I suppose I should get it, having a toddler.

Guadalupe · 02/02/2009 19:18

lol, I remember that thread

Guadalupe · 02/02/2009 19:19

I think

FrannyandZooey · 02/02/2009 19:19

oh guad we have meetings they are dreadful
well i never go
but the buying stuff bit is marvellous
just done our order - is it suma? 24 boojas for £7.25! result

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 02/02/2009 19:19

really? lolol. I must email and tell her IMMEDIATELY

TinySparklyWhiteFeather · 02/02/2009 19:20

I think it is fabulous and be as proud and chuffed as you want Franny...you speak good words. Why not share them?

I am not good at 'tips' but do empathy quite well.

I second the banners 100x. Their words shall be our mantras..even if we don't have toddlers.

So sorry about your friends little boy Molly..heartfelt sympathies there.

OK.. SB....'just keep swimming'.......hope you are OK and in the 'pink' ( or purple if you prefer!) .

I can't deny I am getting weary of not being in the rudest of health but it is only time. Good friends are a blessing . xx

back to the ironing board.

Guadalupe · 02/02/2009 19:21

How do you get stuff without going to the meetings?

It's not Suma, no, it's Rainbow. I really need to get the stuff but I imagine it will be painful. I know some of the people going, more worthy than I.

FrannyandZooey · 02/02/2009 19:22

if it was me i would be CROSS
i am such a fricking egotist though (like this is news to anyone)
i was eg reading the bit on food and kept thinking "not much of ME in this bit"
you think of all the things that are left out

god it must have been some job to do
if i wasn't on here and i read it, it would make me want to come on, i think
