For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Hi All...have abondoned the 10/10 ship for a fair while (am 3andnomore by the way....incase people don't recognise me, lol), but must realllly come back for motivation....I am doing SW now, and whilst it works, as in weightloss, I must say, keeping my eye on eating 10 portions fruit and veg made me feel so much better when I did it!

Anyway, how is everyone? I know there have been Babies born and all sorts....so, anyone care to update me?

FairLadyRantALot · 06/01/2009 20:13

Toot...you lost a stone over x-mas? Hw did you do that?

TooTicky · 06/01/2009 20:14

Ooh hello 3
Franny had a baby, Pink is going to have one, um....

FrannyandZooey · 06/01/2009 20:15

FairLadyRantALot · 06/01/2009 20:18

hi toot...

oh I know about Franny's little Lucian (hope I spelled that right)...who probably isn't all that little by now...

oh and congrats pinkwell, definitely NO MORE BABIES here, lol...dh had the snip in the summer [ of the evil kind emoticon] , which is just aswell...am struggling to fit University and our existing 3 Kids in, lol...am not claiming I am struggling with the housework part, because I never do any anyway, lol

TooTicky · 06/01/2009 20:20

housework? What is that?

FairLadyRantALot · 06/01/2009 20:22

dh is out of the army since april, and had started a fabulously well paid job in the summer and hated it so much. So, now he works for the company I part time with and is in the Social care sector...wages are halfed, but he is so much happier, and well, that is so much more important than having a bit more money

I love my course at Uni, but god, it's hard work at times....it's study week now and next week I will start my first placement in Handtherapy, which I am looking forward too
Kids are all great and doing well...Flynn started school in the summer and loves it and gets on so well (and I was so worried, what with him only turning 4 just before he started...) and Sven has now properly caught up in english and is back in mainstream class for it now
Yannic is a handful as ever and sadly we are still having poop issues with him ...
but that is us, really!

Hope everyone had a lovely x-mas and clebrated the new year in style

FairLadyRantALot · 06/01/2009 20:23

some unknown entity...one that bores me to bits

am talking about housework btw

FairLadyRantALot · 06/01/2009 20:24

oh, and must check that 10/10 link again, to see if chickpeas count as 1 of them....have become a chickpea lover

TooTicky · 06/01/2009 20:25

It's really good to hear from you. Are you staying?

FairLadyRantALot · 06/01/2009 20:29

I shall...it did me so good when I was here.....kept me on track to think more of fruit and veg....and well....it was always nice here
don't know why I ever stopped posting on the thread, tbh....other than that it was so fast paced at times, lol....

pinkspottywellies · 06/01/2009 20:34

FairLadyRantALot · 06/01/2009 20:52

pinkspottywellies · 06/01/2009 20:52

littlerach · 06/01/2009 20:55

I htink I joined 10/10 just as you departed.

Wrinkled clothes are a good look.

FairLadyRantALot · 06/01/2009 20:57

and again, so sorry littlerach... and more

FairLadyRantALot · 06/01/2009 20:59

I think I should change my id once more and it should be "DiggingMyselfDeeper" or some such thing...am pretty brilliant at that , that and procrastinating
