For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

ooh SB i will try to think of some ideas for you
Tiny what an extraordinary evening, I was alternately and at the fire-setting-self [ibid Toot] the open- heart-surgery-mirena-coil-drama and the unabashed list of crappery intake lol.
doing really really badly at the moment. no one ate my banana cake yesterday but the dog ate my victoria sponge which had half a jar of blackberry jam inside, and that costs three pounds a jar here.
however as problems go it's not up to much.
bought more seeds for the garden yesterday. ladyfinger, english carrots and a lot of other stuff I don't think I've eaten (knowingly) before

SuperBunny · 16/01/2009 02:38

@ all the gardening, Stuffit

dooneygirl · 16/01/2009 02:47

If I were there, I'd totally eat your banana cake.

And another at the garden.

stuffitllama · 16/01/2009 02:57

thanks we can have a third each (it is huge) and roll around for the rest of the day

SuperBunny · 16/01/2009 03:02

Why did noone eat it? I love banana cake

stuffitllama · 16/01/2009 03:34

they went for that dip.. have you had it.. philly cheese smothered in sweet chilli sauce with japanese rice crackers

and chocolate doughnuts! crazy fools

SuperBunny · 16/01/2009 03:37

Oh, sounds sooo good. I'd have had all of that and then cake!

TooTicky · 16/01/2009 04:25
