For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

2 down, one to go... the chicken thing is finished but has almost no conclusion to speak of, but it's not due in for a week, so I shall leave it to stew.... No pun intended!

Just nutrition left which should be an easier one.

And the elves are coming to remove and replace our central heating on Monday!!! I shall have a bath before xmas!!! To say nothing of clean dishes... My house is a health hazard.

stuffitllama · 13/11/2008 17:39

oh dear Mou what a shame about the meeting going wrong with H ..or is it a shame? Glad you found it helpful though

Osba pat on the back for the essays .. perhaps you should let us write the conclusion? a line each? or you could just wing it

hahahaha

You'll be interested to hear I've bought two pairs of Brazilian prostitute platforms as am trying to be taller and thus taken more seriously. They add five inches! and would have gone down a storm at your wedding no doubt. Availability of slutty shoes another good reason for a visit.

You sound so cheerful despite social intervention style housing conditions. I hope the elves do a good job and don't use your loo out of turn.

OsmosisBOOnana · 13/11/2008 18:10

Mexican whore, stuffit, mexican.

The brazillian bizniz was entirely different debacle

littlerach · 13/11/2008 18:29

Slutty shoes sound like reason enoght to visit!

Tomatoes
red pepper
yelloe pepper
sweet potato
brocolli
carrots
banana
raspberry jam

not bad I guess.

Rain, rain, rain...

mou · 13/11/2008 19:20

Not sure Stuffit, pretty apt..and we won't get anywhere if there isn't honesty but it made me sort of smile. Even DS noticed.

I think I am just a bloody moon fairy that thinks we should all have a go at being nice and tolerant with each other!
Not that I don't have my passions but I suppose that is life.

Anyway, just back from a run and shaved 5 MINS off my usual time so am grinning like an idiot.

I am now going to consume the rest of the cake something from the fruitbowl.

to all.

SuperBunny · 13/11/2008 19:26

I do the kiss in the hand thing with DS, especially when he doesn't want to go to sleep at night or when I leave him with a babysitter. SOmetimes he puts the kisses in his pockets for safe keeping.

Stuffit, sounds fascinating. Certainly give syou some persective. I love Slutty shoes.

Sorry DD isn't better with school, TF. Poor little thing.

I have given in and am watching the Jungle Book with DS. I fearthis is the start of the Disneyfication that I so hoped to avoid.

Banana
Juice
Raisins
Qunioa Pilau with chick peas and pomegranate (2)
Peach

pinkspottywellies · 13/11/2008 19:32

Oh yes! I'm in for the slutty shoes.

OsBa's lying about the dishes - they've all been living on Pot Noodles

Franny hope the Big Event went well!

Not bad today - prunes, apple juice, pineapple, orange, banana, apple, cuc and tom, and just having spag bol containing onion, peppers, mushrooms, carrots, toms. Will try and stepper tonight but there's nothing on TV!

TooTicky · 13/11/2008 19:35

Daisy, please talk to me about homeopaths. I'm sure the others will vouch for me being something of an evangelist on the subject. I can recommend some cracking ones, and if you aren't near any of them, give you a list of searching questions to ask potentials.

It's so lovely to have you back Stuffit

I am on my second helping of those tiny weetabix things with chocolate chips. They are highly addictive.

TF, hope you and dd can have a nice day together.

Mou, congratulations on the 5 minutes

Head was okay, he's a nice chap, was letting me know the EWO might be in touch
Ds1 seems much better, thank goodness!!

pinkspottywellies · 13/11/2008 19:38

Are they vegan TooT?

SuperBunny · 13/11/2008 19:41

weetabix with chocolate chips? Yummm

FrannyandZooey · 13/11/2008 20:39

evening the trip was fab hoorah
they built dens, lit a fire, did whittling, fed piglets and stuff
oh then ds and dp went on an ice rink! dp used to play ice hockey - I told woman sitting next to me this, then we sat and watched him for a few minutes. She then said "was it quite a while ago?" LOLOL

we are all a bit jaded now to say the least

I have got pictures for you
hold on a sec

FrannyandZooey · 13/11/2008 20:41

ds2 is wearing the cardi Avi knitted

FrannyandZooey · 13/11/2008 20:43

oh I outed myself to someone I know in RL LOL
I asked if anyone would lend me a breastpump and she offered - turns out we have known each other for years
so better stop talking about my pvc fetish private life on here

filthymindedvixen · 13/11/2008 20:48

evening all. I am in tune with the moon again but didn't register until period arrived at 3am, after I spent yesterday muttering ''fuckwits! Why is everyone being such an irritating arse today?''
I feel utterly crap, coldy, crampy and sleepy.

Have eaten 2 plums, pomegranite, leek and carrot soup and vege curry and a whole packet of jaffa cakes

pinkspottywellies · 13/11/2008 20:56

Franny DS2's looking very well and utterly gorgeous! Isn't he the image of his big brother!!? Sounds like a great day!

pinkspottywellies · 13/11/2008 21:00

Moony it sounds like you should go to bed!!

TooT I've just looked up the weetabix and I'm confused. It says contains milk and suitable for veggies but I can't see any milk in the ingredients list or anything that would make them non-vegan Anyway, yes they are very yummy!! Or maybe you have a vegan alternative?

Anyway...

daisy99divine · 13/11/2008 21:55

Hi all! you have probably just left the yurt

Franny, the trip sounds amazing! and the cady (and baby inside!) are lovely

sign me up for shoes!

Toot, would love to talk homeopaths, I live in London so any guide or tips would be great

Stuffit, my DS is 2 and 4 months. Poo problem been going on a while (there is a Full of Details other thread) but basically the medication I don't like - it pushes against nature IYSWIM. Interesting re cranial osteopathy. Have tried normal, not cranial, will give that a go...

Lusting for chocolate weetabix which is odd cos I have food poisoning and have been sick all day

Osba, hats off re essays, clever you

FMV, I am going to bed too, feeling horrid

Yes, book programme sounds ace, and of course I have missed it

Mou congrats on time shave

TooTicky · 13/11/2008 21:57

PINK - don't do that to me!!!!!!!! Have just checked ingredients in paranoidy way. They are okay. Says "may contain traces" blah blah blah but nearly everything says that.

Fmv, you poor darling. I hope you are tucked up in bed with a hot water bottle and cuddly moon.

Franny, that child is positively enormous!! And utterly gorgeous of course. And ds1 looks so devoted I particularly like the photo of both boys together.

TooTicky · 13/11/2008 21:59

Oh yes Daisy, there is an excellent one in London, very good with children. I don't know her personally but my homeopath and my aunt do.
Email me at [email protected] and I will give you details.

daisy99divine · 13/11/2008 22:01

TooTicky · 13/11/2008 22:01
