For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

sorry cross posts
I meant 'the small one is only a bit smaller, so I think it is still big enough for them to have a lot of fun with'

scones and cream sound good.

Dh has gone ot buy a BBQ as ours is beyond repair.

I do love the sunshine.

TooTicky · 07/06/2008 12:11

Ah, that's better. All that namechanging was making me restless. Would you believe TooTifrooTi was already taken?

I like the idea of barbecues but with 4 dcs, and a dp who thinks it's too much hassle just to end up with burnt food, grumble grumble, I've not investigated yet. Not brave enough to do it on my own yet.

Guadalupe · 07/06/2008 12:13

ooh, strawberry tea, how lovely.

It is pouring wth rain here, I expect I ought to do chores.

TooTicky · 07/06/2008 12:16

It is warm and sunny here today. For some reason I am wearing thermal socks and gardening clogs

DH is now going to maturbate look at Bongos at some dealers. I hate it when he's like this; we have no money but I know in the next week or so, he will come home sheepishly and say he's sort-of bought one.
