For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Well actually I am leaning towards white as I just can't decide. All my cushions and things seem to be shades of red, bedding generally white

ahundredtimes · 03/05/2008 22:29

Oooh we have chalky muted duck egg blue sort of colourin our bedroom too! Though quite greeny duck egg. I like it.

FrannyandZooey · 03/05/2008 22:30

my bedroom is creamy white, I love it

stuffit it is from Brian Keenan;s book An Evil Cradling about being a hostage in Beirut

Pink I think I saw your mango theory. It made me lol.

I couldn't comment at time (I think) because I was doing a quick read and catch up but no time or spare hands to type.

ahundredtimes · 03/05/2008 22:31

Yes, creamy white is lovely. Depends on size of room I think, and probably the creaminess of the white. What is on the floor now Tatties?

ahundredtimes · 03/05/2008 22:32

Right. I really should go. Though I'd rather sit here and discuss paint charts really.

FrannyandZooey · 03/05/2008 22:34

yes I should go too

stuffitllama · 03/05/2008 22:34

go with white.. sillk looks great again white walls if you can pick up a sari or something for drapery / throw type colour

Tatties · 03/05/2008 22:34

We have a natural/oatmeal coloured carpet 100. It is a big room.

I always thought I would quite like a warm cosy dusky pink in the bedroom but I think I have changed my mind

stuffitall · 03/05/2008 22:42

Toot how is that eye?

TooTicky · 03/05/2008 22:46

Why are you now stuffing it all? Where is your llama?

Ds2 doing well. I noticed today, when we were in a shady place, that his eye was almost fully open and I could see the lines on it. It is still reddish and sore-looking and sensitive to light. It's not affecting his balance and agility though, which I feared it might.

stuffitall · 03/05/2008 22:47

that's great -- is there a check up for him next week

stuffitall · 03/05/2008 22:49

flip really depressed by that story about the two boys found dead locked in a car
please let it not be the heat while their parents went off and did something

UnderRated · 03/05/2008 22:52

I think the mango theory is true, pink.

UnderRated · 03/05/2008 22:54

New title: Hey Mr Tangerine Man

TooTicky · 03/05/2008 22:57

Oh shit, hadn't heard about the two boys
There are certain children, whose stories I have heard on the news, who I shall never forget.

Yes, ds2 has another check-up on Friday

stuffitall · 03/05/2008 23:11

good luck vibes for Friday

am in maudlin mood Toot.. it's reminded me of the children who ran off to the sea on a beach holiday in Norfolk while their parents set up the blanket

it makes me want to put reins on my 12 y o

UnderRated · 03/05/2008 23:11

I haven't seen any story about boys in a car but sounds very sad.

UnderRated · 03/05/2008 23:13

Oh, I remember that one, Stuffit

And, having seen how DS can disappear in the park when I only blink, it's all very frightening

stuffitall · 03/05/2008 23:17

I know.. and when it happens the knives always come out for the parents
it's unimaginable

stuffitall · 03/05/2008 23:24

have moped thread into dark grey..
night x

Internet Man came over

He was a gentleman and brought me HP sauce (because it is English) and was funny and made me laugh and we danced and he shook my hand goodnight and said I had pretty eyes

I am smiling like a 13 yr old now. Oh dear. And also panicking - what if he doesn't like me? Argh.

F&V count: 2 apples, 2 bananas, aubergine, tomatoes, spinach

UnderRated · 04/05/2008 06:28

So, what does a non meat-eater do with HP?
