For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

OMG. We've talked orange before haven't we? I remember now. DS2 loves orange too.

dh and dd evidently love raspberry.

Boco · 03/05/2008 22:14

I shouldn't be here, I have someone staying and it's very rude, but I'm finding High Fidelity quite hard to watch due to all the talking to camera - even though I do like John Cusack.

ahundredtimes · 03/05/2008 22:15

Oh please stay. I shouldn't be here either.

Boco · 03/05/2008 22:15

I always want to eat orange paint.

S1ur · 03/05/2008 22:16

Dark red is good. A nice merlot perhaps... or blood maybe. Yes all good.

S1ur · 03/05/2008 22:17

I am a bit uncomfortable with orange ssometimes.

But I want to eat almost all paint, secretly.

ahundredtimes · 03/05/2008 22:17

Yes it is lickable isn't it? You might eat Franny's kitchen She will send you packing to the bedroom so you can be at one with your aura colour. And all will be well.

Boco · 03/05/2008 22:17

Where should you be 100?
The baby who is staying in my room keeps waking up and crying and so I keep nipping on to talk auras and bruce while cousin goes up to shush the baby, and then I nip back guiltily when she comes down and dp keeps saying 'nice of you to join us!' in a reallly annoying way.

ahundredtimes · 03/05/2008 22:18

I want to be Taupe or something. Not dark blurry blue. Taupe. Something modern and made-up and washable.

Tatties · 03/05/2008 22:18

I have grown to really like orange (tangerine was the colour of my nails this week)

Boco · 03/05/2008 22:19

A washable aura is very handy. And non-iron. Wipe clean too.

ahundredtimes · 03/05/2008 22:19

Oh because dh keeps wandering about - VERY pleased with himself for painting the room RASPBERRY - and saying 'I did well didn't I? What are you doing? What shall we do? What are you doing?'

IdrisTheDragon · 03/05/2008 22:19

It would have been nice for you to be here in about August 2006 Boco, when the orange paint thing happened.

There are probably some spare cans of orange paint somewhere here.

ahundredtimes · 03/05/2008 22:21

I'm one of those annoying people who likes muted, chalky colours. Dull colours basically on my wall. Chalky and faded and NOT BRIGHT RASPBERRY.

I've got it out my system now. Thank you for listening.
I should go and talk to dh I think.

FrannyandZooey · 03/05/2008 22:22

my orange kitchen isn't the shade I wanted but is quite good
I took one of ds's plastic toys in to be colour matched by that clever paint computer, but it didn't work, so a very nice man did it for me by eye, flicking through the paint chart books
it never looked quite the same on the walls, though, I don't understand why

I would find it impossible not to plunge my hand into orange paint.

I used to have a real problem with sponges too. The compulsion to suck them is too great. And sponge painting with orange paint is so painful, I have to be restrained.

pinkspottywellies · 03/05/2008 22:22

Like your title Fran.

Slur, I saw your dress too! It's lovely. Did you pick shoes yet? I realised when I went onto that thread that I don't really know you. I don't think we've really been on here at the same time!

Did anyone read my mango theory this time?

FrannyandZooey · 03/05/2008 22:23

omg sponges
i can't be doing with sponges, they make me shiver

Tatties · 03/05/2008 22:24

What colour do you reckon I should paint my bedroom?

Boco · 03/05/2008 22:24

We have dull chalky too. Duck egg in the bedroom, kind of pale latte colour in the dining room, chalky white sitting room. I can't live with too bright colours in our tiny house as it'd be claustrophobic.
Better go and be polite to cousin and dp who will be scowling.

FrannyandZooey · 03/05/2008 22:24

sea green

We moved into a house that was exclusively decorated into beautifully modern degrees of cream and beige. It is very calm.

Apparantly too much so, ds has taken to decorating it with any implement to hand, this morning it waa yoghurt, yesterday ORANGE pen.

stuffitllama · 03/05/2008 22:26

hello again
white tatties then you can have lots of colour in pictures and cushions and curtains
not even magnolia.. white white white
at least you wouldn't want to lick it

stuffitllama · 03/05/2008 22:27

where's the quote from fran, does everyone else know

S1ur · 03/05/2008 22:28

Pink, thank you, no I haven't picked shoes yet. I'm due to tomorrow. Today was a bit full for shopping as well.

We had this party and a friend was showing her work in an open house art season thing so no time for strappy shoe shopping.

I have got a pair of outfts for dcs but will need backups becasue they Will be needed.
