Anyone want to join me in a very easy peasy diet?

Im on hols in June so that is my incentive. Beginning of December I went of a cut down diet. All I did, was after my main meal at night, I ate.... NOTHING. No picking... chocolate, biscuits, popcorn (dont we love our popcorn on MN? , crisps....nothing. Oh and no pudding!

I lost nearly 1/2 stone just by not picking.

I ate what I liked during the day, biscuit, chocolate... what ever I liked, but just stopped at night.

I have to say, I did go to bed a little bit hungry, but felt so gooooooood the next day, especially as by the end of the first week my stomach had gone down considerably, and by the second week my clothes felt looser.

Who wants to join me? anyone?

Missing in action!

cadelaide · 30/07/2008 22:45

Oh, I do feel large this week.
I haven't gained (not lost either), but I just feel big, you know that feeling?

I do find the summer holidays hard. A warm afternoon means a cup of Earl Grey and a slice of the finest home-made coffee and walnut cake, and a summer's evening just demands something bubbly and alcoholic.

Doen't it? Or is it just me?

cadelaide · 30/07/2008 22:46

And I have ventured tentatively into cadbury's territory, for the first time since I started in mid-april.

This is a bad, bad sign.

Someone motivate me, FGS

peachygirl · 31/07/2008 19:09

(With mega phone) Step away from the chocolate!!!

although I have myself succumbed recently

cadelaide · 01/08/2008 12:51

Thanks peachy.

I am now disarmed.

peachygirl · 03/08/2008 19:56

Just poppng inot say I'm off to my parents for the week so won't be around for the weigh in.

Have a good week everyone.

JustJaamy · 03/08/2008 23:32

Hello ladies!

Sorry not been around for aaaages. Finding it so difficult to get back into the swing of things after hols. Have been nibbling in the evenings and partaking in way too many vinos. Am also very, very and with myself for putting back on a lot of those awful lbs that I lost.

Sorry I didn't reply to your email on Tues, Wolfy but I was just sooo disappointed in myself after I did so well before I went on hols. Will be weighing in on Tues though but am preparing self for a shock.

So I'm looking for some motivation and hope that I can provide a bit of motivation to you all, too. I have a wedding to go to on 6th Sept. Have bought the dress and am in danger of not being able to fit into it.

Hope everyone else is surely but steadily dropping the pounds and exhibiting more willpower than I am.

Looking forward to the brand spanking new thread.

x

Peachy - hope you have a lovely week at your DPs. Hope they spoil you rotten!

Wolfgirl · 04/08/2008 19:55

Hey ladies.... not sure where you all got to last week! But for me, I had and am having a very very busy time, which is why Im not popping on MN every day or even every other day.

In fact, for August and September, Im going to have to ask someone else to take over the spreadsheet whilst I step down for a while. I wondered if it would come to this, but I just cant do it any more, not whilst I have the world in one hand and the galaxy in the other to juggle with.

For most part of July Ive had family come to stay, then I have my sister in lawa and kiddies coming to stay end of this week for a week or so, then I have someone coming over to dismantle our kitchen on Sat. 16th. Then the next week we are away camping, then end of August - hopefully the new kitchen will be started, if not - then begin Sept.

Then there is 3 week intro time for DS who will start school, and we also have more family coming.

In the meantime, I have to try and sell our current kitchen, and toys and LO's clothes and anything else that will a bob or two in.

I also have to pay attention to both my DC's who have glue ear, and Im running to and fro to the hospital having them assessed. DD is behind with her speech and needing assessing, she also has hardened wax on top of glue ear, so no wonder at 2 yrs and 8 months she can barely say words.

Then I have my Chronic Fatigue to deal with and onslaught of the menopause.

So you see my precious wonderful ladies, I think I have to let soemthing go... and unfortunately the diet is it.

Im going to cut and paste all this, and send it to you in an email, just to make sure you all get it.

I do hope however, end of Sept. begin Oct, I can pick the diet back up. But by then, you will all be skinny rakes, and I'll be on me Jack Todd.

bye for now

ye gads wolfie. i'm exhausted just reading that well back from our mini-break and i have never walked sooo much. my blisters have blisters but it was great to be away from everybody. i did get a numb bum from sitting at the emirates for 2 whole matches but all in all it was fun. seen my brother as well, which was good, and spent a ruddy fortune have to say i was not good (peach sorbet with champagne anyone?). still havning in here tho. haven't looked at my emails for a while so will do later. have a nice break from this wolfie and come back revving to go!

kingprawntikka · 06/08/2008 16:59

Hi Wolfgirl, your life sounnd totally hectic at the moment ..I'm not suprised you want a break from organising us all. I hope you have a lovely relaxing time camping and come back re- charged and ready for all the things you have going on in August /September. Thank you so much for all the effort you have put in to this . enjoy your summer . x

Wolfgirl · 06/08/2008 21:50

HI there chickens! LOL a rare few minutes to jump on the computer, whilst DH is watching House of Saddam.... like I want to watch murder eh!

Thank you all for your wonderful support too. I shall be working hard behind the scenes to keep the pounds off. I hope you guys have a good 'rest' of the summer, and see you around on MN now again no doubt.

take care and love to you all.

Hi all, Wolf girl you have been brilliant with all this, take a bit of time for yourself.

I was going to offer to take over for september if people want. I'm on holiday next week so can't do it sooner.

My only problem is that I cannot change the spread sheet on my computer only view it. So would have to create a word document type chart.

What do you all think...

Jaarmy did it for a bit ... maybe we should take it in turns??

cadelaide · 16/08/2008 23:07

Oh.... we've fizzled out haven't we?

I've put things on hold for the duration of the summer hols, I'm not walking to school and I'm losing nothing atm.

But I still want to do it in Sept, I really do, and I think the weekly weigh-in made a huge difference and was the reason I stuck to it for so long.

I don't think I can take on the spreadsheet Peachy, I have an online shop selling xmassy stuff and I have no time from sept to jan.

I had Dairy Milk tonight, heeeelp!

peachygirl · 18/08/2008 20:08

Hi I think everyone has gon one hoilday!

I've gone on hold too cadelaide until September.

If people are happy for my word doc thing I get in touch with everyone when I have got back from my hols.

Have a great week or so everyone.

Jaamy · 20/08/2008 10:44

Hello!

Sorry have been absent, but then so has my will power. Will start again with you ladies in Sept if that's ok and we'll all be slim as pins for Christmas.

Peachy - I'm sure your word table will be just fab.

Cadelaide - a bit of chocolate does you good. Worry about it in Sept! What's your website, will go and take a look? Christmas...arghhhhhhh!

peachygirl · 28/08/2008 08:11

Hi all I'm back I'll try to get in touch with everyone in the next couple of days with a view to us all starting again on the 1st september ... next Monday.

The holiday was OK.. We did lots of lovely things but Dh was ill for most of it with stomach problems (probably connected to his Crohns)DD was relatively well behaved but it certainly wasn't a relaxing break. If anyone is around later I could really do with a moan about it all and not be judged for being selfish.

peachygirl · 29/08/2008 16:37

I've sent an email round. Hope to hear from you soon

peachygirl · 31/08/2008 16:14

OK I have heard from
SUEDONIM
WOLFGIRL
IAMNORMAMAGBUTSHELOVESME
DUOMONSTERMUM
and a couple of others who are pulling out.. any more takers??

I have created my chart and will send it to you to look at in a minute. It is simply a chart with weights on I'm not going to work out how much you have lost unless you all really really want it.
The chart covers two months
