Anyone want to join me in a very easy peasy diet?

Im on hols in June so that is my incentive. Beginning of December I went of a cut down diet. All I did, was after my main meal at night, I ate.... NOTHING. No picking... chocolate, biscuits, popcorn (dont we love our popcorn on MN? , crisps....nothing. Oh and no pudding!

I lost nearly 1/2 stone just by not picking.

I ate what I liked during the day, biscuit, chocolate... what ever I liked, but just stopped at night.

I have to say, I did go to bed a little bit hungry, but felt so gooooooood the next day, especially as by the end of the first week my stomach had gone down considerably, and by the second week my clothes felt looser.

Who wants to join me? anyone?

hello all. I've stayed the same this week but am quite pleased because have been doing lots of comfort eating.

Discovered a new weight loss trick yesterday - I was so tired when dcs went to bed I lay down at 7.15 for a quick nap. Didn't wake up until 6.15 this morning. Missed dinner altogether and had 11, ELEVEN, hours sleep. Was a rather confused little bunny whwn I woke this morning - I thought the clock had gone back an hour rather than forward 11 hours. Haven't felt this un-tired for ages though.

And while I slept dh did the ironing then slept in the spare room so he wouldn't wake me

MamaChris · 18/07/2008 15:15

well done nbl! and sounds really lovely of your dh

Hello all Im so sorry, Ive made promises all week that Id get the spreadsheet out, but Ive been so busy Ive seriously not had time. and when I do have a moment.... I just need to rest.

The kids are bothering me too at the moment, they are not babies anymore, and becoming reall screaming nightmares, bickering with each other all day. I swear its doing my head in.

I have my step son over for the weekend, so wont be popping on here I doubt, he hogs the computer.

But I will tyr and get it sorted. I hope you guys have had a good week.

xx

peachygirl re your question about a roll call, yes I've done that recently already, and the folk still on my SS are the ones that are left.

Any idea what we should call this diet? How about....

The NO picking in the evening diet!

Cadders you said you had a 1lb loss last week, can you give me your exact weight, as it seems Ive not had any entries on SS for you for some time, I don't know why I guess its my fault, but not sure.

I've just emailed you wolfgirl.

I've lost this week. 1 and 3/4 lb so today I am 8.9

I'm so pleased as I sort of had it in my head that I wanted to have lost my 1/2 stone by the end of the summer term.
Term ended today!!!!

OP posts:
Wolfgirl · 29/07/2008 14:34

no-one else has joined me in the Aaaarrrggghhhhh sentiments this morning, so Im guessing the following:

  1. You all have far too an interesting life and getting out there living it to jump on scales this morning
  1. you have lost the thread or your computer is down
  1. You have all done exceedingly well and just dont want me to feel bad

where are you ALL

OP posts:
suedonim · 29/07/2008 14:54

I thought there was going to be a new thread? Still no scales here.

kingprawntikka · 29/07/2008 18:34

Oh no not at all Wolfgirl . I too had that feeling this morning. In fact it made me so cross that i immediately put it out of my mind. Only i just saw your comments and remembered that i should have posted before i removed the figures 10st 2 pounds from my head!!! Sorry you have had a disappointing week.

Wolfgirl · 29/07/2008 19:51

ah well, some you win, some you lose eh!

Did you guys not get my email last night? I've had no responses, and suedonim you will have seen on the email my suggestions for the new thread.

Wouldnt go ahead and create a new one without you guys . And whot you mean, no scales! Are you not back in Nigeria? where are you these days?

OP posts:
peachygirl · 29/07/2008 20:41

I'm here Wolfgirl
A new thread is good and I like the title.

I have gained 1lb. I am due to start though.
Last week the day before I weighed I didn't eat very much (I discovered I was going into work for two days and not being paid for it GRRR)and I wonder if this inflated my loss.

I have been feeling V pleased about the 1/2 stone though and have ventured out in public in some shorts!!

suedonim · 29/07/2008 20:45

Ah, I thought you'd already started a new thread - I wondered why it seemed to be MIA! I'm still in the UK and am staying right here until 1st September.
