For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Oh UR it is the making of it that I find very therapeutic
the mixing and stirring and the kneading it while hot bit

OP posts:
UnderRated · 21/03/2008 19:36

Yes, the kneading of warm playdough is lovley. And it makes my hands soft. But I have some that needs to be used. We put cocoa in it and DS said, "Look, Mummy made a poo"

FrannyandZooey · 21/03/2008 19:39

I just make more as required (by my grumpiness)
when we have several colours I start culling it

right I am hassling again for an easter title
we're going to need it shortly as we are all on holiday and gassing lots

OP posts:
UnderRated · 21/03/2008 20:07

I'm confused - we need an Easter title but it shouldn't be Christian-ish? So we're talking bunnies and lambs and eggs, right?

I liked Gourd of the Dance but can see it causing a bit of a hoohah.

FrannyandZooey · 21/03/2008 20:10

LOL oh dear
spring festival maybe I should have said
anyway any new ideas or if not we can have papaya don't peach

UR I liked your summary. BBB does them sometimes and it makes me laugh

Rubbish day f&v wise. We have nothing fresh left and DH has gone to the pub and I said to let me know when he'll be back and I'd do tea but he doesn't think he'll want any. He will now come back and eat half a loaf of bread and lots of crisps DH makes me laugh when he's drunk. It's very funny

You've been very chatty today and I can't keep up! Someone was feeding lambs though and that's what dd was doing when I saw 'Boco' the other week!

I am dreading the sex talks when dd is older. I will go like this and say 'go and ask auntie {sil} or {sis}' who will be much better than me!!

pinkspottywellies · 21/03/2008 20:44

Oh Joy! There's another thread about what people call girls 'bits'.

FrayedKnot · 21/03/2008 21:26

I do like the fact that the thread has drifted into being purely about sex which seems quite relevant for the Easter weekend...

How about...

Hot Cross Plums is great!

lol @ zippi being the only grown up still awake in her house.

Ooo, Franny's DP rides motorbikes? I spent my summer riding up and down the lakefront on the back of a Harley without a helmet.

UnderRated · 21/03/2008 23:03

What a good sport Mr Avi is. I'm a little disappointed though - I expected him to be wearing black tie. I think I imagined he wears it all the time. He sounds lovely.

TooTicky · 21/03/2008 23:13

Oh yes, I like Hot Cross Plums.

Period just started - who am I in synch with?

Have been blowing eggs, which I think is pretty brave for a vegan. Particularly as two blew back at me. They are very gloopy things, aren't they?

Have also been winding wool - seems to take forever and havew just reached inevitable tangle stage with first hank

TooTicky · 21/03/2008 23:15

Have made more hot cross bun dough - we're having a Good Saturday as well as a Good Friday.

Dd2 was concerned earlier about a teddy bear not having many clothes. She said she would make him a hoody... " but it won't have a hood, because I can't knit hoods."

zippitippitoes · 21/03/2008 23:16

zippi is master of nonsenes what the heck did ll that mrean

TooTicky · 21/03/2008 23:17

I did wonder...
How are your feet Zippi?

UnderRated · 21/03/2008 23:19

lol @ the hoodless hoodie

What did you do with the edible bit of the eggs, Toot?

I have had cramps all day but no period yet. Wish it would hurry up. Being 3 months late is ridiculous
