For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I had heard that anecdote before. I am also bad at anecdote retelling.

Had lunch with brocolli, squash, and some other vegetables in. And a yogurt with kiwi fruit (real ones) in it.

Tally going along not too badly.

Oh, Mrs Carrot, I'm so sorry

I know we (I) probably can't do anything, but if you think of something, please just say.

Anorak has a support thread for anyone who needs it. Maybe that will provide a little help when you are ready.

DD: Mummy can you help me do this
TF: In a minute darling
DD: You must do something straight away when I ask you to do it Mummy [stern]

lullabyloo · 17/03/2008 13:51

'You know..in 6hrs all that lovely salad will just be poo'

TigerFeet I hate it when that happens
ds was looking after his baby in a pram this morning. He took it to the park (the corner of our lounge) and then said "Come on, darling! No time now!" before it had even had a go on anything

Thanks for the hands. I am not naturally a huggy person either so hand holding will do me just fine.

I have just eaten vegi sushi and a houmous felafel wrap that DH bought me and I am groaning as I've hardly eaten this weekend. Can't believe you made that lovely sushi, LL, I can never be bothered.

Nice to see you back, zippi.
