For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Oh, I say, that last one was quite nice looking, Sven or someone.

ahundredtimes · 07/01/2008 19:25

How satisfying. I might just keep popping in to see who is there at any given minute.

I must go and do things. Pleased you are on the mend MrsC.

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 07/01/2008 19:25

u r mad

filthymindedvixen · 07/01/2008 19:26

I have a woman with long hair and very good non-rhubarb-with-sugar teeth!

ahundredtimes · 07/01/2008 19:26

BBee wants to know when you're changing your name back zip.

MrsCarrot · 07/01/2008 19:27

I thought you said must go and mend then! I didn't have you down as a seamstress.

I must put dc's to bed too. They are all screaming around me and hagning on my leg and I am looking at the screen calmly watching which rhubarb face will pop up next.

Hello Zippi - have a look at the rhubarb people. They are mesmorising.

Right - I am off.

ahundredtimes · 07/01/2008 19:28

Oooh I just got a very intense staring one in a black t-shirt. He made me jump.

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 07/01/2008 19:29

i haven't really made plans

i still have the unadorned christmas tree in the front room

i have to do my assignments

and i have to give the climber a forfeit to do when he next sees me..he won't tell me what mine was going to be so i am flummoxed

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 07/01/2008 19:31

FrayedKnot · 07/01/2008 20:13

Hello

Franny you sound like you quite enjoyed your weekend, hope the boys got back OK and the slime game is tolerable.

I have lol'd at the swedish cardigans.

I am feeling quite perky due to returning to my normal diet and routine instead of the crapness that was Christmas.

I'm sorry not everyone has been having the sunshine I felt much better after spending a few hours in it yesterday.

I have just discovered the gym I am thinking of joining does pole dancing classes I think I will stick to the pilates though.

FrannyandZooey · 07/01/2008 20:26

I got 2 good looking Swiss people and 6 odd ones. It felt like playing on a one armed bandit or something

erm my lunch was so good, actually, I wish I could have it again tomorrow. I took a very large plate and put baby spinach leaves on it. Then drizzled with pizza express salad dressing. Cut up two big tomatoes, a mozzarella ball, some of those slightly smoky artichoke hearts in oil (my current obsession) and dot them around. Topped with a bunch of freshly steamed asparagus, some s+p and lemon juice. Halve and butter small baguette and cram onto the edges of the plate which is now looking dicey

my dinner is crap and out of a packet so I will not elaborate. Boys are back safely, ds has 2 sacks full of plastic objects and is most happy

Sverige är mycket bra
Ask away LittleRach

I like rhubarb. The layer of globular doodah is disconcerting though.

TooTicky · 07/01/2008 21:05

Oh I like that FK.

Will have to hurry ds2 upstairs as soon as dp has done hot water bottles because he (dp) is going to watch the chicken programme and ds2 is v. sensitive about sad things.

ahundredtimes · 07/01/2008 21:12

I like the look of your Swedish place too TooT. Poor TooT, we're all rushing off there.

FrayedKnot · 07/01/2008 21:16

I am only rushing off there in my mind.

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 07/01/2008 21:40

oh yes i like that too

nice mountain thoughts

am i the only person in the world who has never seen the sound of music

FrayedKnot · 07/01/2008 21:50

I thought you had seen everything zippi

Actually I knew all the songs off by heart years before I saw the film. My MUm had the LP, and we used to play it loads.

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 07/01/2008 21:55

i'm sure when i was mary whitehouse i saw it

MrsCarrot · 07/01/2008 22:05

OOOH, spooky, the cakey car advert was just playing as I read your title, Fk, I think it's meant to be.

Hugh fearnley whitteywhatever's chicken programme was depressing, poor little things. I do like a nice chicken though. I might keep them one day.
