For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

yeah yeah, if cod hides our threads how come she pops up on them sporadically? She is hooked!

TooTicky · 07/01/2008 12:39

Franny, I think that is a snot game. So nice and topical for you.
WHO dreams up these things? I think they must employ eight year old boys.

Dd2 and I went out to do some work - nice and sunny it was - and then it rained and hailed and sleeted and dd2 went into emergency sleep mode on my back (this CANNOT be happening - oh no, we have just walked past the car, we're not going home yet after all - must sleep or go insane) and we got soaked. It is now sunny

filthymindedvixen · 07/01/2008 12:44

I have tidied. And now I have 2 more boys and a toddler coming over. Why do i bother?

TooTicky · 07/01/2008 12:46

Because otherwise you'd be wading. I speak from experience.

anorak · 07/01/2008 12:50

LOL Franny at rampant dreams about unsuitable people. That happens to me too. Worst is when it is someone in RL.

Or I dream DH has been mean to me and I slap him awake he's used to it after ten years.

filthymindedvixen · 07/01/2008 12:59

ah yes

TooTicky · 07/01/2008 13:29

Dd1 has been wading for years. Where does it all come from??!!

Hurry up Franny, my bum's getting cold!

BBBee · 07/01/2008 18:32

filthymindedvixen · 07/01/2008 18:34

littlerach - that hol sounds lovely....

ahundredtimes · 07/01/2008 18:34

If you want Franny to show you anything. You need to talk to me first. People get abused in this business.

I'm her agent.

ahundredtimes · 07/01/2008 18:35

What is she supposed to be showing you anyway? [flicks through portfolio of possible images]

How are you all?

Firstly it was greengages, then it was satsumas but today, oh today, I have cooked and eaten large amounts of RHUBARB.

I heart rhubarb.

BBBee · 07/01/2008 18:40

no stop with the rhubarb - it disolves the alum off you teeth - that is why your mouth tastes all chalky. Stop now.

franny was all art and freezers last night - we are being confused and placattative.

BBBee · 07/01/2008 18:40

i remember the greengages - that was a lovely time!

filthymindedvixen · 07/01/2008 18:41

ahundred!

Agent or...pimp???

Well if we must talk F&V, I have had 2 bananas, watermelon, grapes, cherries, and cantaloupe melon. Seasonality smeashonality...

Salad noicoise for lunch (so lettuce, olives, onions, tomatoes)

and no doubt some veg to accompany the slices of left-over beef and onion gravy for supper. With chips!

Oh and dh walked out of his job today. He has been offered a narrowboat as redundancy [surreal emoticon]

ahundredtimes · 07/01/2008 18:41

Stop with the rhubarb?

Really? Does it?

Oh no. I love it.

filthymindedvixen · 07/01/2008 18:42

it is nutriciously redundant apparently. Contains miniscule amounts of vit c...

ahundredtimes · 07/01/2008 18:43

FMV.

Crikey. That sounds scary. Has he another to go to? Are you taking the narrowboat?

My dad once swopped his company for a double decker bus all kitted out to go round the world in. I kid you not, he met a man in the pub. My mother made him go back the next night at unswop. It was a cool bus though.

ahundredtimes · 07/01/2008 18:44

You all hate rhubarb. I'm devastated.

BBBee · 07/01/2008 18:45

boats are romantic in notion but a nightmare in reality.

I am sure that rhubarb thing is true. Franny will know probably - it is something my dad told me so could be a lie.

When is zippi going to change her name back?

BBBee · 07/01/2008 18:46

Well you got lucky with the greengaes and satsumass I don;t realy like fruit
