For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

But my hair is not nice groomed long hair like Franny's - it's very very thick and wavyish and always scruffy. It was ok to have hair like this before, but suddenly i can see myself how other people probably see me and i feel like a mess.

Tatties · 18/10/2007 21:44

Franny he sounds like an ARSE and it really is unacceptable and incompetent of him to be going about things this way.

I can also recommend going shorter, it makes you feel lighter, quite literally

Avi oh go on then

FrannyandZooey · 18/10/2007 21:45

Do you know what I mean though? When they have it cut they look sort of lighter and more alive. I am stubbornly sticking to mine, though, even though is mess - it is so wayward it can't have a style, so very long or very short is the only way

Oh god yes, draggy face. I need industrial face clips too.

FrannyandZooey · 18/10/2007 21:45

Lots of crossed posts

my hair is very scruffy Boco. I only post the rare photo of it looking half way acceptable

I am normally a fan of shorter hair, I agree with Franny that it makes everyone look lighter and happier as a rule, BUT there was a photo of you Boco when you went for a walk somewhere and you were standing in a door or a porch and I have to say your hair was a feature. It was a very nice colour too, I remember thinking that.

And I'n not having it cut

FrannyandZooey · 18/10/2007 21:50

I just can't have shorter hair, I just can't. it makes the most ridiculous shapes and I can't have a fringe and I have a big cow lick. It's bad.

Oh i have a cow lick too! And i've tried fringes. Thank you the bit about it being a feature 100. There's certainly a lot of it.

FrayedKnot · 18/10/2007 22:02

My hairdresser chops out some of the volume in my hair so it is less bulky, and it does make it more managable.

ahundredtimes · 18/10/2007 22:04

I wish I had bulky hair. Mine is so straight, it's awful and it doesn't do anything.

I look droopy and like Neil out of the Young Ones if it even gets shoulder length. Infact I'd better go and get it cut soon.

FrannyandZooey · 18/10/2007 22:07

If you cut mine into layers it sticks out in directions that it obviously thinks are amusing

Ok Avi

Some photos from today on my profile

BBBee · 18/10/2007 22:11

boco I like your hair - it is nice how it is - it sort of suits your personality and it is pretty and I was a bit jealous of how long your hair was. I think you should keep it long and a bit crazy like you.

FrannyandZooey · 18/10/2007 22:12

Ooooooooh his little plump and rosy cheeks

ooh - I htought of a sad but sweet thing I did. I was missing you so I stayed late in my seminar room and drew a teeny tiny 'bee' in the top left hand corner of the white board.

If my lectures get tricky or I feel lonely I look there and think of you my lovelies!

TooTicky · 18/10/2007 22:14

Fgs will you all just STOP TAL:KING while I catch up?
[tired]

TooTicky · 18/10/2007 22:15

Beautiful photos Tatties. I particularly like the bush fondling one.

TooTicky · 18/10/2007 22:16

Oh heck, that sounds rude and it really wasn't supposed to.

TooTicky · 18/10/2007 22:16

Boco, hooge sympathies and I hope you have a nicely restorative cuddly day tomorrow.

TooTicky · 18/10/2007 22:17

Franny, come and live here. There are 2 village halls and nobody will piss you about.
