For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

+-I am going off that scrabulous! I lost because it will accept fucking made up words like fiz and qi and ruer but not words like zen!! WTF?? I hate their fricking dictionary. I want to play old schol OED!

filthymindedvixen · 30/09/2007 12:58

I am easily recognisable as fullmoonfiend by the way

TooTicky · 30/09/2007 12:58

You've all run away to the other thread, haven't you? I shall be reduced to picking up the acorns and squashed raisins from the floor.

TooTicky · 30/09/2007 13:00

Ooh, I am not alone

Yes, their dictionary is decidedly odd.

Did I tell you the chocolate turned up? The next day, in the cupboard I had searched several times, with a chunk missing

TooTicky · 30/09/2007 13:05

Has Franny gone to have her shower? She was whiffing a bit.

Another vote for OED. Amen.

lionheart · 30/09/2007 15:31

Do you sleepwalk perchance, TooT?

TooTicky · 30/09/2007 15:36

Don't think so Lionheart, why?

lionheart · 30/09/2007 15:41

Chocolate saga.

TooTicky · 30/09/2007 15:45

Ah. No. I do have my suspicions...

lionheart · 30/09/2007 15:47

A bar entirely missing is less suspicious than a bar with one square gone.

TooTicky · 30/09/2007 15:51

I'm not challenging the suspect... just biding my time.

lionheart · 30/09/2007 16:07

Pouncing is a fine art.

TooTicky · 30/09/2007 16:29

There is more than one light fingered person in this house. And several items unaccounted for at any time.

I have made malt loaf. It is delicious.

Good evening

I can see I haven;t missed much, just 2,340,450 games of scrabble

I have been cooking, washing up, cooking, coooking and cooking for what seems like all bl**dy weekend

We have eaten loads. Today we had lunch out, which should have been nice but was a bit disappointing, but lots of veg so that was good.

Tonight I shall have veg soup and tomorrow back to normal routine.

Oh, and I dug the garden for an hour {preen}

pinkspottywellies · 30/09/2007 21:04

I've been gone for days and noone even noticed [needy]

Hello all. Never going to catch up with the last three days so please let me know if there's anything other than scrabble that I need to catch up with! I did notice that Lull's back though. Good to see you!

Today I have eaten half a pack of maryland cookies, a Wispa at the checkout, sushi for lunch so small amount of seaweed, pepper, avocado, cucumber, veg stew, baked sweet potato with lettuce, tomato, pepper and avocado, apple, orange juice.

Not been doing very well lately, need bootcamp.
