For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

left hand?
are you left handed?
have you pulled or strained it? you were doing a cupboard last night.

Boco · 30/09/2007 10:17

started in the morning - luckily right handed. don't think i've pulled it - feels more like intense cramp. maybe i have pulled it. but it started out of nowhere. was sorting cupboards last night, but that only involved picking things up, screaming and putting them down again - with my right hand.

FrannyandZooey · 30/09/2007 10:20

Boco sorry I don't know. It does sound s bit like a strain - or a trapped nerve or something? Something carpal tunnely?

No-one is playing. I expect Idris is not speaking to me because she thinks WOOPS is not a word. But it is.

Boco · 30/09/2007 10:34

whah! i've played a go, but it won't let me submit - is it my computer again?

BBBee · 30/09/2007 10:34

I followed that link and I can play for boco - I can move the tiles. I could do crap words on her behalf.

F - you know yesterday on that outrage about the dog sponsor thing - it has given me an idea - I am going to get ds something like that for his 8th birthday - I think it is so cool. Any ideas on ones that are good and work well? He is inot nature and wildlife and stuf.

IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 10:35

I am playing. I just have useless letters. I am very poor at scrabble.

Boco · 30/09/2007 10:36

oh, maybe that's why i can't do it - maybe i have to go through the email - but i haven't got an email. today is very complicated and taxing.

FrannyandZooey · 30/09/2007 10:36

Bee I've sent you your own game! here - is it not working?

OP posts:
IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 10:36

I have gone now. With a lovely word (but sadly hardly any points ).

IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 10:37

well actually not that lovely. But at least a word.

FrannyandZooey · 30/09/2007 10:37

BBB I will have a think. Is there one near you where you could visit? That would be the best I think. Search for animal sanctuary if you don't know of any. It is more fun if they can go and see the animal.

OP posts:
Boco · 30/09/2007 10:38

franny did you actually invite me! i have a word, i'm ready for action, it won't let me.

BBBee · 30/09/2007 10:39

ah - we are all on seperate games - get you!

I am out and about and washing and stuff but would love to play - will be a slow burn though!

FrannyandZooey · 30/09/2007 10:40

Is there any kind of wildlife he partic likes? The RSPB used to do a lovely one when I was a child. But I will say it quietly because I know 100 doesn't like it. I got binoculars for my birthday, you know.

OP posts:
IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 10:41

I have gone again.

As with most all games of scrabble I play I am already being rather well beaten.

FrannyandZooey · 30/09/2007 10:41

Boco, I did, it has your name on it, see? It was the email that starts sp

IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 10:42

Help. Are you the world's fastest scrabble player Franny?

BBBee · 30/09/2007 10:42

f - am in the same position as boco - I can see it but I can;t play it and there is no email from you either - maybe I am not registered or somethign?

Boco · 30/09/2007 10:43

no email - so can't get a word to actually add to the board.

IdrisTheDragon · 30/09/2007 10:43

I don't think I registered. Maybe I did and didn't notice.

FrannyandZooey · 30/09/2007 10:43
