For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Tatties · 22/09/2007 14:55

Jesus how are we at 50 posts already?

TooT [eek] hope you are ok

FK I know what you mean about not getting the social event thing - it is very draining isn't it?

Anyone who needs distracting or cheering up only has to look at my profile

FrannyandZooey · 22/09/2007 15:14

will someone poke me, hard, if 100 comes back and puts her dd's picture up?

Tatties · 22/09/2007 15:41

Ok I will Franny

FrannyandZooey · 22/09/2007 15:47

NOT with scissors

lionheart · 22/09/2007 15:52

Oh .

ahundredtimes · 22/09/2007 15:57

God, I think someone is going to have to poke me hard so I can at least begin to understand how I might do such a thing.

Party is at 5.00. Isn't that late? Hasn't put anyone off though, unfortunately.

AND lolololol at TooT's face of blue horror and sadness at the terrible thought of a shop bought cake. I love TooT's. I also continue to swoon with admiration at MrsC with her marvellous patrisserie response. She is the coolest chick on this thread - and she has the boots to prove it.

Tatties · 22/09/2007 16:03

TooT hasn't come back, do you think she is ok?

Tatties · 22/09/2007 16:05

100 have you made your pics visible to all or just your MN mates? (if the latter then you must make at least one visible to all to enable it to work at all)

100 I cannot make cakes, and when birthday parties loom I have to bribe nice cake makerly people to make them for me

We have oft eaten a strange biscuity disc with icing that won;t stick to it, in this house.

Hope it all goes well

lionheart · 22/09/2007 16:53

How was your holiday, avi?

There is talk of a 10/10 commune.

Tatties · 22/09/2007 17:04

We are divided over the commune thing though aren't we

Tatties · 22/09/2007 17:05

Oh we have been discussing Myers Briggs

FrannyandZooey · 22/09/2007 17:07

Avi Avi Avi Oi Oi Oi

you were missed. How was it?

We have made another apple and blackberry crumble, and dp is cooking stir fry for dinner with chard (god I have decided I love chard, I partic love the beautiful red stalks), mushrooms, carrots, onions

and tonight

wait for it

we are going on a BAT WALK

FrannyandZooey · 22/09/2007 17:08

Oh we discussed Myers Briggs soooooooo much until nobody else was speaking to me

and it was revealed I am utter control freak

and MrsC fell off a cliff.

Same as usual, really.

lionheart · 22/09/2007 17:17

Yes, some people will only visit the commune.

I love bats.

Tatties · 22/09/2007 17:20

I could still talk about Myers Briggs

The bat walk sounds fun! Ds would LOVE that, we were watching a busy bat from his bedroom window the other evening and he keeps wanting to check if he's still there

FrannyandZooey · 22/09/2007 17:21

Ds has never seen a bat I don't think

it is going to be so cool, there are loads near where we live

Tatties · 22/09/2007 17:30

I am going to the gym now, please let me feel energised this time

IdrisTheDragon · 22/09/2007 17:32

Ooh a new thread .

Have only read a few of the posts - was there a panic at the end of the other one?

FrannyandZooey · 22/09/2007 17:35

Idris there was a huge apocalyptic panic and people fell down a crevass and stuff

I think

Tatties I do hope you do, as well.

IdrisTheDragon · 22/09/2007 17:40

Have read it now ,

IdrisTheDragon · 22/09/2007 17:40

I think the rope appeared at just the right time .
