For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

No, you're right. I'm not worried about shame. I do love the class she's in, though- the other kids are great and it's a really nice group. That doesn't happen often, and the younger group where she would be isn't as nice. It will be a real pity if she can't go to school with her class. Also, as foreigners, and given the system, there is a very real chance that any of ours may have to repeat a year at any stage- it's a pity if it has to happen so soon for dd3.

And now I can't remember anything I was going to say!

The stone roller thing makes a terrific din, or so I've been told and also has to run for many hours.

Also, you could plant treasure for him to discover.

lionheart · 26/09/2007 13:07

SK is it unusual to be asked to repeat the year?

IdrisTheDragon · 26/09/2007 13:54

Has anyone got any inspiration for a title for new thread?

I am making bread (well the breadmaker is) and also trying to pack for going as soon as DH gets in. And tidy. And build train track. And go argh at the dishwasher which is not happy again (and naturally is full of dirty plates etc).

And breathe .

hello beautiful fruity friends

I have had such a manic week at school and work - one of those ones where every day feels like a marathon...

Have been very fruity and veggie though, mostly nibbling as too busy to get proper meals.

Oi FMV have rustled up a brochure for Art Parties that I had hidden away somewhere.

They offer mosaic parties, clay modelling parties things like that. Do you want to know more or is your research complete.

I see you're all talking f&v. I haven't posted on this for about 300 days I notice.

filthymindedvixen · 26/09/2007 17:27
