For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

You can turn to me.

Though I have a pathetic wardrobe. dh always says I have a man's wardrobe. He has more clothes than me. I shall go and see if there's anything suitable, but don't hold your breath, I am Mrs Capsule.

Carotte · 22/09/2007 21:42

I don't know what it stands for. Franny - where are those links again? It wasn't bad, just, quite logical, and a bit close to Margaret Thatcher for my liking.

Avi - They weren't exactly instructions...

Oh no, I don't want to do that. I know what it'll say, Anne always scores as outrageously rational on those things.

IdrisTheDragon · 22/09/2007 21:45

I probably have some size 10 trousers somewhere, that are hoping my hips and bottom will reduce to meet them again one day.

FrannyandZooey · 22/09/2007 21:45

Myers Briggs was on the last thread. i can't regurgitate it all again

Avi have you got the picture there? can you open it in Windows picture viewer thing?

How did the party go, 100x?

TooTicky · 22/09/2007 21:51

I tend to wear khaki and black, with occasional rainbow stripes. New colours are thrilling and just a little scary.
But yes, I am very vertically challenged.

Idris, I am returning to 10. I was a 12 for a quite a while and afterwards, annoyingly, went through a phase of buying size 12 trousers. Needless to say, they were useless.

Avi click on the icon at the bottom of the photo that looks like a little landscape. It says "open this picture for editing" or something

My size seems to alter depending on many things. But I am sure there are some trousers that really do not want to fit me anymore.

They aren't ethical in any way probably .

IdrisTheDragon · 22/09/2007 21:55

Did you say you were 5 foot and a half? Or was that someone else?

FrannyandZooey · 22/09/2007 21:57

up the top click on "images" then on "stretch / skew"

enter some new numbers in the "stretch" box for horizontal and vertical, ie 50% will make the photo half size

then click on "file" then "save as", enter a name you can remember and save to your desktop or other place you can find it

FrannyandZooey · 22/09/2007 21:57

LOL did you do it? Smashing

I think TooT is 5 foot and one half INCH

FrannyandZooey · 22/09/2007 21:58

oh here is a good one who is the tallest and shortest 10 / 10 er? Is TooT the smallest?

IdrisTheDragon · 22/09/2007 21:58

i meant to add the word inch. I think. i knew it should have been there .

BBBee · 22/09/2007 21:59

hey - I went for a drink and to talk to a woman who is a music teacher in schools - it was interesting.

SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOO the party - what happened?

did you get a cake?

was bag hater there? what present did she give?

PSW - why aren;t you making the cake - make it tomorrow I inisist.

Where's Boco?

ahundredtimes · 22/09/2007 21:59

Get Franny.

Party was a wild success, everyone hot and excited, and they did bang heads and was all intense and marvellous. Was annoying father there though, I did a thread about this. Cheered me up immensely.

DD very happy - we had to have a 'long chat' at bedtime about it all.

Her birthday is on tuesday. I let her open 5 presents from party tonight, then 2 tomorrow, 2 on Monday and the rest on her birthday. She is perfectly happy with this arrangement. DS2 argued vociferously against. He said I was 'depriving her of her rights'.
