For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Sorry to hear that FMV.

pinkspottywellies · 14/09/2007 20:47

Evening. I've had donuts (custard ones and raspberry jam ones), lemon melt slices, caramel shortbread, chocolate fudge cake, and apricot danish pastry.

I have new leather shoes and handbags and I have bought 2 new Karen Millen suits.

pinkspottywellies · 14/09/2007 20:48

Sorry to hear about your mil fmv. Hope she enjoys your visit.

MrsC - glad you're feeling much better.

Carotte · 14/09/2007 20:50

Thank you PSW. Did you read my chiding post of yesterday or did your ignore it?

pinkspottywellies · 14/09/2007 20:57

Can't remember MrsC - what was it?

pinkspottywellies · 14/09/2007 20:59

Oh no! Just looked back and seen it! I didn't see it yesterday as I had sensibly gone to bed [Anne enoticon]

However, I was not referring to your name issues as silly but the others making silly suggestions

Carotte · 14/09/2007 21:01

I am just jealous really, that you are not approaching 30. I collect my boots tomorrow, can't wait. They have fur in and are sunggly and flowery and I love them.

lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:02

Carotte, is that final (well, for now, anyway)?

Carotte · 14/09/2007 21:06

Carrot was taken, can you bloody believe it?

lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:07

This way is more sophisticated.

Carotte · 14/09/2007 21:07

I can be called MrsC, or vary my address, and I am recognisable. Next week I may be DameCarrot, or BrerCarrot, or Queen Carrot.

Humour me?

lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:08

Yes, Sir Carrot.

Carotte · 14/09/2007 21:08

someone said I sounded like garrotte, I quite like that!

lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:10

You're not red of the hair, are you?

I mean, how come you have the carrot fixation in the first place?

Carotte · 14/09/2007 21:11

One of my MA friends worked at the theatre. She changed my 'theatre friend' details to DameCarrot and when they were fundrasing for the refurbishment they phoned me all the time, clearly thinking I was loaded, even though I had 'student friend' status

Carotte · 14/09/2007 21:12

No no, dark hair. Why carrot? I was eating carrotcake when I joined, then got married, then it's hard to change completely, no?

Why Loin?

Twice, and Lion

IdrisTheDragon · 14/09/2007 21:13

I am blow drying four bears with a hair dryer.

Carotte · 14/09/2007 21:14

??

lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:15

I wonder how far you can get if you masquerade as a person with connections (and bank to match).

lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:16

Four bears? One is an imposter, surely.

pinkspottywellies · 14/09/2007 21:16

I am slowly approaching 30 MrsC, after I do 28 and 29. I can't call you anything else. Sorry.

Idris. Why?

lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:19

See this which I used to love.

You are not very old, psw.

lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:20

Were they capsized?
