For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Wow. I love the picture Lionheart.

Am I the youngest? I'm always the youngest and I don't like it! (And then I say in a young girly whiney voice 'I don't like it' and appear even younger!) I'm not that young

filthymindedbolshevixen · 14/09/2007 21:22

oh I still love that album Lionheart. In fact I worship at the feet of Her RoyalBarkingness still...

They are DDs bears. They are called

Ro-Ro
Ro-Ro (yes, two bears of the same name)
My Bobby
White-white

The first three all look the same (and also the same as DS's bear, Boris (known as Bobby by DD; hence My Bobby)). White-white is a white bear.

All four were submerged in the bath in freak accident of DDs making. She has gone to bed with Scruffy Dog. But I feel that the other ones are likely to be wanted at some time in the night. And as we have no tumble drier (hooray, I have some eco-friendliness) I have been blow drying them.

This is totally normal behaviour for a Friday night in Dragonland.

DH has returned from Wales. He brought me a jar of honey, DS a small rugby ball and DD a small red dragon. Have discovered DH knows I am Idris (due to me saying how much I liked the small dragon).

IdrisTheDragon · 14/09/2007 21:23

For my 30th birthday I was very large, as I had a 38+ week DD inside me.

She will be two next Thursday.

IdrisTheDragon · 14/09/2007 21:24

You all think I am mad, don't you ?

lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:27

Me too, fmv.

You may not be the youngest, psw, but if you are, maybe we can lure someone even younger into the thread and you will feel better.

Makes perfect sense, Idris.

filthymindedbolshevixen · 14/09/2007 21:27

In a lovely way Idris...feckit, who I am to judge?

OP posts:
Carotte · 14/09/2007 21:28

No, Idris.

PSW - I am envious.

Lionhart - I like Kate Bush. What do you mean though, by the connections question?

lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:29

Not entirely bonkers, Idris, nor disconcertingly sane. About right for this thread, I should think.

pinkspottywellies · 14/09/2007 21:29

Of what MrsC? My age or my wellies?!

It's funny because I'm the youngest of my friends but was the first to buy a house, get married and have a baby!

pinkspottywellies · 14/09/2007 21:30

Idris, I think we're all mad. I wouldn't come on this thread if we weren't

Carotte · 14/09/2007 21:32

Lol, PSW, of your age, I HATE pink remember. I liked being 27. I graduated when I was 27. It was a good year.

lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:32

Well, if you phoned a restaurant or something and said you needed tickets for Sir and Lady Carrot
and it was very posh and had a six month waiting list, would they give you what you wanted?

Or, if you had Lady Carrot in your electricity bill and you got into a dispute, would they be kinder to you because of the title?

There must be some advantage to a title, surely, it can't just be people tapping you for something.

Carotte · 14/09/2007 21:34

Oh, I don't know. They do that thing in the Guardian don't they, where they ring up for tables for, Britney, and John major, or whoever?

lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:35

You don't have to answer that, by the way.

27 is a good age, it's just about the time you start to iron out kinks and beat back your demons (hopefully).

filthymindedbolshevixen · 14/09/2007 21:36

I had my first sprog at 27...Mostly a good year!

OP posts:
lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:36

Yes, they do, but I always feel bad for the one who can't get in anywhere and peeved about the others.

pinkspottywellies · 14/09/2007 21:37

I graduated (and got married) when I was 21! 27 has been fairly unnoteworthy so far

lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:38

I was a student (still).

Carotte · 14/09/2007 21:38

Me too, Lionhart, it make me cringe a bit.

I was 20 when I had ds1. Just.

Carotte · 14/09/2007 21:39

I prefer to be an odd number

filthymindedbolshevixen · 14/09/2007 21:39

aw bless. child bride!!

OP posts:
lionheart · 14/09/2007 21:40

Actually, it's possible you don't stop cringing until you reach your thirties.

Carotte · 14/09/2007 21:40

child bride? That's a creepy phrase...

filthymindedbolshevixen · 14/09/2007 21:40

sorry...
