For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Are you the only one to make 10 today?

Carotte · 14/09/2007 22:33

I have had ten I just can't be bothered to list it.

pinkspottywellies · 14/09/2007 22:34

Oh no! They're talking about fruit and veg. I'm going to bed with my crisps.

lionheart · 14/09/2007 22:34

It doesn't say anything in the rules about actually listing things.

lionheart · 14/09/2007 22:35

DS2 has gone to bed with a tractor.

That takes us right back to the lusty pictures that someone was requesting earlier on.

Boco · 14/09/2007 22:47

Back from the cinema - watched rousing anti-slave trade drama in village hall. Tried to buy a bottle of wine, but the barman said he didn't have a bottle opener, so had to just drink from a box. - well, obviously decanted into a glass, we're not animals.

At the interval, they press pause, and the compere shrieks 'loits linda!' and at the end you have to stack your own chair. God i love rural living.

3andnomore · 14/09/2007 22:48

pinkspottywellies · 14/09/2007 22:54

Boco I thought when you said tried to buy a bottle of wine you were going to say you got asked for ID!! How old are you?

Boco · 14/09/2007 22:56

I'm old. I was 33 this week. But actually, i did get asked for ID in tescos only last year. I roared with laughter and made the woman say it again. She was a bit embarrassed by my glee. And explained that it was half term and they had to be careful. Hahahaha.

BBBee · 14/09/2007 23:17

oh boco we are old they are all 20 apart from filthy - she is 50 or something.

BBBee · 14/09/2007 23:42

BBBee · 14/09/2007 23:43

(not because he keeps his pis in a bucket)

Boco · 14/09/2007 23:53

I'm only writing this so that your post about fancying hugh and his old piss isn't the last. I saw him in london once. He has a snubby little nose - i like him but have no sexual attraction towards him or his pissy ways.

Good night Vedgers.
