For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

MrsC, why don't you choose yourself a name from here I quite like Nanduri - sounds faintly exotic.

ahundredtimes · 08/09/2007 18:16

Oh yes, we could have Sensible And Everso Slightly Puckered-Up Arses Week with Anne.

TT - I am now devastated that I passed up the opportunity to meet your mooncup.

Hope you have a grand tea Idris, happy birthday. I forgot to say it before.

MrsC did you shout out 'Boe-coe' at lady in turquoise cardigan in Norwich today? Please say yes.

Am meant to go to party tonight. I don't want to. I want to stay in and watch films with dcs. Have evangelical babysitter coming. DS2 loves her. She leaves him little christian things, and he makes her sit on his bed until midnight and asks her lots of questions about God. She loves him. He is ripe for conversion. The last thing she left was a bracelet with beads telling the story of Christ.

'It's great isn't it?' said ds2, 'Look this red one is blood, and this one is MORE BLOOD, and this black one is the day he actually died, pinned to the cross. It's fantastic.'

Tatties · 08/09/2007 18:34

MrsC I really like MrsC - I think I will find it hard calling you anything else.

Boco I always knew it was Boe-Coe too (Thomas enthusiast in this house as well...)

Happy birthday Idris!

FrannyandZooey · 08/09/2007 18:35

oh no I think MrsC should be Nigel or perhaps Parmex

Who was Tollocky? I can't keep up with this thread when I actually leave the house. Was it Greeny?

ahundredtimes · 08/09/2007 18:37

Was FMV. She's worried about you all calling her filthy at the meet-up, and people staring and things.

TooTicky · 08/09/2007 18:38

Christianity has some really scary bits, doesn't it?

For ds2's party (and indeed most of his present!) he wants this marvellous chap . We have never had an entertainer before but this guy is So Good - the sort of thing you remember for years. We have seen his pirate show at a couple of events and it is so funny.

Do you know 100x, I did eye a couple of potential Annes with sunglasses but their children kept being the wrong size or gender so I gave up in the end.

FrannyandZooey · 08/09/2007 18:38

oh was it you FMF? Well you were being quite marvellous on some other threads when I saw you, quite Greenyesque. The post on here makes sense now I know it is you, though

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 08/09/2007 18:39

But I WAS there TooT. I saw you.

FrannyandZooey · 08/09/2007 18:39

don't worry, I will not be so rude as to call anyone Filthy

I haven't quite got to grips with FMF's V yet so I stick to what I know and call her FMF (in my head she is Moony, you see)

TooTicky · 08/09/2007 18:39

Bugger. I have just burnt my toast.

TooTicky · 08/09/2007 18:40

100x I do not believe you. What was I wearing then?

FrannyandZooey · 08/09/2007 18:41

I saw you too TooT. You were wearing layers, and sandals. And your hair looked like Tove J's.

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 08/09/2007 18:43

We were all there TooT. We hid by the climbing wall bit, by the slides. We had to restrain Franny from wandering over to flirt with the teenage skaters.

FrannyandZooey · 08/09/2007 18:46

I did shout out but they pulled me down and covered my mouth

That wasn't flirting, 100, that was just gawping. I don't flirt, my mouth just hangs open a bit and a bit of spit comes out

OP posts:
TooTicky · 08/09/2007 18:46

Sandals, yes.
Layers, no.
And you're wrong about the hair.

TooTicky · 08/09/2007 18:47

100x, were you the lady with the large bottle of water?

ahundredtimes · 08/09/2007 18:50

Was she beautiful, stylish and clever-looking?

FrannyandZooey · 08/09/2007 18:55

[tumbleweed]

OP posts:
TollockyBoss · 08/09/2007 18:56

no, that would be ME!

(sorry, will get changed out of my rabble-a-rousing gear shortly...but this is a good name for when I am feeling bolshy)

ahundredtimes · 08/09/2007 19:05

TooT is so struck by the memory of the gorgeous vision of womanhood with the bottle of water that she can't type. She can't even stand up. She has had to sit down in a dark and calming room for a moment.

If this is the case, then yes, was me.

TooTicky · 08/09/2007 19:09

You're teasing. I don't believe you were even there. At best you were looking out of your window with a telescope. Humph.

TooTicky · 08/09/2007 19:20
ahundredtimes · 08/09/2007 19:31

okay, okay, we were teasing.

Please can we take down the posters now, and put that display back on the occassional table where, when I sit on THIS, beanbag I can't see it at all.
