For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Nice title, but I have just been whinging about your absence in the old thread.

NotQuiteCockney · 09/07/2007 08:38

(to be fair to everyone else, it's only me who gets up and bitches about your tardiness Frances. I've been up since 5:30. )

FrannyandZooey · 09/07/2007 08:43

Oh dear

well I didn't sleep in or anything, but I had to cuddle ds for quite a while, then pretend he was a dog having his claws clipped, then read him two stories, then play a game where we were in a restaurant eating fish sticks , then I had to have a shower and put on my make up and make the breakfast and then count up all the votes and decide what the new title was. Oh and email TooTicky about some Playmobil she is selling me and talk her through the trauma of discovering that my real name is not Franny

So you see why it took me a little while to get here

My breakfast this morning was a symphony of red: raspberries, redcurrants, plums, and red grapes. Oh and raisins. Bloody lovely.

Your real name is Franny. Obviously.

Your parents got it wrong.

MamaG · 09/07/2007 08:52

You're not called Franny?

NotQuiteCockney · 09/07/2007 08:53

She's just funning us, her real name is Franny. She has a strange sense of humour.

MamaG · 09/07/2007 08:54

Yeah that'll be it [relief]

FrannyandZooey · 09/07/2007 08:55

"Your real name is Franny. Obviously.

Your parents got it wrong."

LOL I am inclined to agree with you.

She does have another name, which she insists you use when out anywhere public.

And when you describe Frances as her 'porn name', she gets all twitchy.

FrannyandZooey · 09/07/2007 09:00

LOL at least I do answer to Franny. Or Frances. Or in fact most things. If you call Greeny "Greeny" in public she sort of winces and covers her ears.

OP posts:
MamaG · 09/07/2007 09:01

Frances is my middle name

NotQuiteCockney · 09/07/2007 09:01

DS1 got fed up with all the names last time, so decided you were all called Greeny.

NotQuiteCockney · 09/07/2007 09:02

Arse, must go, today will be far too much, might manage to check in later.

Lullabyloo · 09/07/2007 09:04

TranquilaManana · 09/07/2007 09:05

STARVING. off to scrabble for something vaguely healthy.

FrannyandZooey · 09/07/2007 09:20

Boco · 09/07/2007 09:31

Morning. Random today nappies?

It's a great thread title.

I thought of another today - how about 'I'm a surfibre' eh?

Had a delicious breakfast of raspberries, grapes, strawberries and raisins.

Tatties · 09/07/2007 09:32

God of COURSE your name is Franny

So far today OJ and dried fruit in muesli. Have lots of fruit in so should be an ok day but don't know what to do for dinner... I am toying with the idea of ordering a veg box again but don't know if I can deal with the heartache

Hathor · 09/07/2007 09:37

Am eating plums and apricots in an attempt to rejoin the thread with the best title.

Boco · 09/07/2007 09:37

I do want Franny to really be called Franny, and Enid is so Enid. I find it hard to imagine Cod having a real name.
