For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

And Jaime has eyes
black and shiny as boots
and they march at you two-by-two
(re-loo-re-loo)
when she looks at you,
you know she's nowhere near through
it's the kindest heart beating
this side of the blue

Devendra is good too - I do love some of his songs, but kind of have a feeling i wouldn't like him in real life - he seems a little bit smug.

dp hated at first - said JN sounded like a cat being killed, but it grew on him, and admitted that some of the songs make him go all sprangly.

Def get the latest album 100.

Float Like A Butternut, Sting Like A Pea - this one tickled me.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes - little TooT had a lovely day. Loves her threading beads, got the hang of it straight away (great excitement from ds2 on seeing them: "I know, I know, you knit them! Look, it's got a knit stick!").
Don't suppose y'all want to see a pic of the cake

Have eaten soup (onion, garlic, lentils, fennel, carrot, potato), carrots, cabbage, raspberries, loganberries, banana, mango, raisins, hint of orange.

ooh yes, post a picture Toot!

100, def buy that album, cripple crow, agree about the smugness too, though HIS girlfriend is worse, has a very smug conciously weird album too, can't remember it's name.

I am too cross with dh this morning to eat fruit but we won't go there. I hope to improve by midmorning.

It is very sunny.
