desperate fag quitter! Anyone similar, fancy mutual support group?!

To my shame it's about my 167th attempt to quit fags... anyone out there trying the same who would like to start a support thingie here where we can rant and vent our frustrations and praise each other? I'm starting tomorrow...

hi midden sounds like you've been doing a heck of a lot better than us lot anyway - at least me, I've cracked loads of times, just had a fag actually, cc has the odd herbal, mm has had the odd puff because her dh bought some and forced her to smoke them...

FG, I think MM meant I wouldn't join you all after reading the minor set backs (can't remember any threads I've done) but on the whole you have been doing really well!

Not sure if the zyban is giving me weird effects but I do think my blood pressure may be slightly low or I'm aneamic as I keep getting dizzy if I stand up too quick. Have got to see nurse every 2 weeks anyway so that she can check BP while taking zyban and got first appointment on Tues, so we'll soon find out.

hidden-s - it sounds like you're a bit iron low - have had this many times - have you tried taking that iron tonic stuff, a very murky looking bit nice tasting liquid from chemists & health shops -what is the ruddy stuff called? Floradix. Does make a big difference after about a week.

Today is my 9th day without a fag. Yay, I'm so proud of myself sone it totally cold turkey and dh is still chuffing away. Luckily smoking is banned in our house and always has been. But I'm so chuffed I want to tell everyone how well I'm doing toruble is mum and dad have never known that I smoked. How sad?? Twenty something, married, 2 kids and still afraid of mum and dad!!!!!
