It sounds like she is doing well - bless her! Praying she goes from strength to strength and has the healthy life she deserves. I just hope and pray that Peter and Ian (same names as my dh and bilincidentally!) hear something soon. You are doing a wonderful job in raising awareness misdee. I imagine a lot of people have signed up on the organ donor register through your posts - well done.

bunny3 · 07/08/2006 12:16

fingers crossed for her and her family.

One of my best mates children is on the transplant list for a new kidney. I hope they get a call one day soon.

Lucy my sweet we're thinking of you!

I'm in floods here, as Misdee knows my cousin's lad didn't get a transplant and died at six last year.

I am so very , very. very glad you got the transplant- I'm not one for praying but you can be sure I am now.

Will be watching this thread closely. So glad to hear that Lucy got the call for her new "engine" and my thoughts are with her and her family on her recovery. xx

proudofmyboobs · 07/08/2006 13:43

Oh sweet blonde haired Lucy, I am sitting with the tears running down my face.. I hope her new "engine" helps her to play with her family, I feel so so sad.

I am on the organ donation list, can I put my children on it too? I don't think I saw anything to fill in for children, also where do I get a donor card to carry?

anthonykiedisbitontheside · 07/08/2006 13:51

Thinking of you and your family and wishing you a full recovery and a happy and healthy life.

HonorMatopoeia · 07/08/2006 14:09

Good to hear she's out and it went well. Sending big recovery hugs in Lucy's direction. x
