I hope she enjoys her holiday UrsulaPandress. DD came back from her first holiday sans parents last week. It was mostly good, except for one girl, but I won't say any more as it is tabloid fodder.

Well it is results day here and I have been awake since 5.00 am! Just can’t sleep Hmm

Results out in 12 hours time - it is going to be a long long day! Got to keep busy and use some of my nervous energy constructively 😀

Have been remembering his first day of school and wondering where all the years went. Feeling sentimental again. Suspect it is going to be an emotional day.

Having just got back from Glasgow, DS2 is off to Belgium today for a few days to go to a rock festival. It feels as though I've barely seen him.

Lonicera there's always one girl on holiday whose the proverbial pain in the butt!

Celebrating DD getting a part-time job again yesterday, after making her give her job up in April to concentrate on everything. At least it will save my ears from her constant woes about not having enough money to go out clubbing and buy more outfits on-line! One of the interview questions was what colour jelly baby would you be & describe it in 5 words - who knew it represented personality profiling - will take jelly babies a lot more seriously now! 🍬🍭

AAAAGHHH.

DS was complaining of toothache last night - all along his jaw and a headache. Think it might be the dreaded wisdom teeth coming up. He goes on holiday tomorrow morning. Have managed to get him in with his dentist this afternoon. Hoping there's no infection otherwise he'll be on antibiotics for his whole trip away.

Ds smashed it!

Exceeded his firm offer and his predicted grades and even got 100% in his final exam which he took on Monday on 3 hours sleep.

He is off to Uni of Nottingham in September.

I promptly burst in ugly sobs.

Champagne is not even cold yet! Thought I had a couple more hours to go.

Starfleet ds had that during the exams - the abscess could be seen on the X-ray. He felt better within 36 hours on antibiotics.
I hope your son makes a quick recovery.

Thank you for all your kind wishes.

I hope this is the beginning of great news for all our dc. I remember that some else’s dc already had great btec results so hopefully we are on a roll.

Next up is Shanghai i think with her ds’ IB results later this week.

Champagne has been «fast chilled» in the freezer. Just waiting for our American friends to arrive and the celebrations can start.
