panda have you watched that strange film called InterStellar - it will answer all your questions or question all your answers as it is incomprehensible, like all astrophysics to normal people..

chocolate was just coming back to say, that ds1 lies quite often, it is more like a game he plays to feel in control. Today he told me he had walked to Reading. (which is about 30 miles away I think? ) as you say it is a developmental stage and to do with independence, but it comes out in very upsetting ways for parents too, not just fake walks to Reading so stay strong but she will work out that she can be independent without needing to lie. eventually. [twenties?] I'm sure I used to lie a lot, not exactly lie, more like decieve or misinform. It is keeping secrets really, not lying.

Just been reading A Pair of Blue Eyes. Even more gripping than Othello, equally tragic, and full of lies. Hardy for you.

No nettle I haven't.... I gave physics up in y9, so a level is a bit beyond me! I do much better with DD, I used to teach eng lit so was useful for her GCSE revision!

I love all the talk of worms and garages at the end of the last thread. I don't have either :( I have asked for a wormery but dh said no :( He said something about a lack of space. We do have a shed full of junk, but it's nothing on a garage.

They did crawl all over Ursula. Sadly many did not survive. I discovered it in the middle of the night with the light turned off and no slippers on. They were..... gummy.
