Hope everyone’s first night of freedom is going well.

Here I am being given speeches (it is an oral exam) on the theme of indentity in 12th Night and in Carol Ann Duffy poems.

He knows about this thread but I have kept it from him that he is the last to finish! 😀

I'm feeling disgruntled because after our very fabulous weekend DDs decided to stay on in London with DH for a few days and I had to come home and go to work this morning

I've just finished work for the day. dd is still out celebrating :)

No 6am alarm tomorrow. woo hoo!

Commiserations to those still in the thick of it.

DH and I are on holiday this week. A pottering sort of holiday mostly going to be spent on the allotment. Just enjoyed a salad followed by strawberries.

On Wednesday I am taking DD1 & DD2 out to get a dress for DD2's prom on Friday. DD1 coming along because she detected a free lunch!

DD2 is out with her friends tonight, celebrating the end of exams. I dont think I will be seeing her early tomorrow.

That's cutting it fine for prom dress shopping. I'm impressed.

DS home and chilling. He went out for lunch with his mates, then had a kick about followed by some board games. He is not a big drinker at all, but we will be treating him to a pint or 2 with dinner out tomorrow night! I think he won't know what to do with himself tomorrow! He needs to buy shirt and shoes for prom on Thursday...

Anyone else feel like they should be on holiday? I can't quite believe it is all over for us. I had my last tutorial of the year today, no more lectures or essays for me until September either (and i just squeaked a first on my last assignment, when I thought I may have failed it...!) . Glass of white going down very well, and a lovely day of walk with a friend, and dinner out planned for tomorrow. Shame I have to work on Wednesday...!

dd just got home. The transformation is amazing. She's like her old self. I have no doubt that she will be flat in a week or so but she has lots of fun and social stuff planned before we go away for a few days.

Fantastic kitten! DS also pretty chirpy. I am hoping we get to meet for a coffee once we have dropped our respective DC off in September!

Just wondering how Fantasy is? Haven't seen her name for awhile but I might have missed it.

We had a very, very hot and sticky leavers assembly. Proud mum as DD won a music prize. She is out now and staying at a friends tonight. So I hope she is having fun.

DS has to be at his friends house at 6.15am tomorrow morning so they can set off early on their day trip to a theme park. The joys of him having his own car - I won't have to get up to drop off! He asked for some travel sickness pills and an plastic poncho (we have the first but not the second).

Didn't Fantasy's DD go on holiday? Maybe she is having a bit of a breather whilst she's away?

Breakfast by the pool this morning? There are enough sun loungers for everyone. The management apologises for the lingering smell, the staff were out first thing oiling the wooden tables. They will be dry by lunchtime (and then I can get the third and final application on and move on to the chairs)

I'm still in bed beats getting up at 6am each day for sure.

I had a lie in until seven but once I'm awake that's it, I might as well get up. I should have had breakfast before making my hands smell strongly, I didn't really think that through.

Just saw footage of that online Ursula. Has you had a very dry few weeks. We have had very little rain and my grass is now trurnknf brown :(

Well ds has an exam today - just working from home as I need to run in him there Soon. In a couple of hours he can forget all about English lit forever 😀

DD has promised to sleep all day today. I suspect she will melt first.

She is helping in school tomorrow with induction for new Y12 and is really looking forward to it.

They were stopping at McDonalds for breakfast on way so those pills would definitely be needed😱

That's really nice Hardwick :) dd is going to be heading off for a day out with friends soon. I think she might stay over, so I'll see her Thursday y I guess as I'm out tomorrow night.
