I have my weigh in tomorrow night, I have struggling to get back to target for about 3 months, I only have 9lbs to go (I got within 1lb of target range and then slipped again!)

Kayleigh · 06/01/2004 13:54

ok, I did it. I re-joined today. I have changed my working days and can now get to a city class on a tuesday lunch time. I was humming and haaing about going but this thread gave me the last little push I needed. Thanks fairydust.

Furball, I have just under two stone to go too (half a pound under !). Seems like a long way to go. To think this time last year I was nearly there. I could cry

Crunchie, I'm sure you'll get back on track and get to target this time.

Crunchie · 06/01/2004 14:02

Kayleigh at exactly this time last year I had 2stone to lose (less a lb like you) I did it, and then spent the next 6 months within target until about sept when I started wavering! However I worked out I spent spent this year pretty much with 1/2 stone of target all year, so overall that's quite positive!

I'm just on the cabbage soup diet for a week to detox and kickstart good habits again, but going for SW weigh-ins. Hopefully by this time next week I'll have 5lbs to go!

hollybet · 06/01/2004 14:38

We're back!!

so glad

Kayleigh · 06/01/2004 14:40

hollybet, are you sticking with the xmas name ?

Kayleigh · 06/01/2004 14:42

Crunchie, good grief ! Cabbage soup for a week. ONLY ??!!! That can't be good for your insides. Or your outsides

fairydust · 06/01/2004 17:14

right girls - i'm on a red day - thought i'd post what i've eaten to give other ideas and i'd apreciate the same if you have the time -

As i know a little help from other is what i need

Lunch chicken n lemon chicken - warburtons bread (b box)

deegward · 06/01/2004 17:25

Oh so glad someonehas started this again. I took target just before Christmas after losing 2 stone, and managed to stay in target over Christmas. BUt have kinda lost it when it came to New Year, got too cocky, now if I am honest 3.5lbs over target weight, really annoyed with self, as was as much as 1.5 under target weight the week of Christmas. How can it go so wrong. Back at weigh in tomorrow night. Have had a red day with mince for lunch, and made a steak pie for tea which I will have without the pastry (I hope!)

fairydust · 06/01/2004 17:35

nice to see u deegward -

fairydust, tip for a red day, but only if you like liver! Tesco, best of British range, Liver and Bacon is free on a red day, and is really quite tasty. The gravy is good, and it filing, I usually have it with free chips (b choice)

fairydust · 06/01/2004 17:46

thanks for the thought but i couldn't face it

OP posts:
Crunchie · 06/01/2004 21:29

fairydust, don't mean to pick holes but you have had 3 B choices. Shreddies = 1, bread = 2 and jkt spud = 3. You have had one A, but in the new look SW you can have 2 A's but not 3 B's.

Kayleigh, don't worry I don't just eat cabbage suop, there is another thread on this one, but yesterday I had fruit (as nuch as I could eat) and cabbage soup, today was veggies and cabbage soup, tomorrow for a thrill I can have fruit AND veggies and cabbage soup!!!

Crunchie · 06/01/2004 21:31

and deegward, chips are not a B choice unless they are new potatoes with teh skins left on! It's the skin you see

God I am turning into SW food police

Kayleigh · 06/01/2004 22:11

Crunchie, fruit AND veggies and cabbage soup! I bet you can hardly contain yourself

I have been reasonably good today considering I didn't actually plan on going back to class until last minute. But intend to start properly tomorrow. Already have my breakfast and lunch all prepared to take to work, plus a load of fruit in case i feel deprived.

fairydust · 06/01/2004 22:35

thanks crunchie = mean't to say the jacket was sins

but thanks for picking it up - the extra help is brill

Exciting life I lead eh Kayleigh!! I have soup, salad and fruit today I have a weigh-in tonight and I am not that hopeful!

Kayleigh · 07/01/2004 10:02

Will be keeping my fingers crossed for you tonight crunchie. You deserve a loss !

This morning I have had 2 weetabix (b) with skimmed milk (A) and grapes.
For lunch I am having tuna and cottage cheese salad plus yog. And i have two apples and 2 satsumas on my desk if i NEED something inbetween.
Feel better already just knowing I am in control again.

fairydust · 07/01/2004 15:49

well girls i stuffed 2-day - well in my eyes anyway

green day

no breakfast as didn't have time

lunch - 2 packets of supernoodles - checked syns after and there 6.5 syns each so that's 13.

not sorted lunch.

i know i can pull the syns in 2-morrow so not that bothered just couldn't believe it when i checked them

OP posts:
Kayleigh · 07/01/2004 15:54

oh i do that too fairydust. You think you're making a reasonable choice and when you check you may as well have had a bar of chocolate

I was doing my shopping today at work (on-line!)and trying to check stuff i wanted to order against the new syns on line part of s/w website. But it was soooo slow. It took forever and i gave up in the end. After all i am at work !! So i'm sure i've ordered stuff that i think is sin free but won't be.

fairydust · 07/01/2004 17:42

agree the syns on line in now a night mare --

does anyone know of a cranberry juice / cordial that is syn free or very low?

OP posts:
