I have a confession that I'd never utter IRL. It has taken a lot of bravery for me to do this and I may well be excommunicated from MN:

I hate The Breakfast Club. Angsty teens get detention. Some snog at the end. That's it. Boring!! First time I saw it i was waiting for 'the good bit'. It never came.

I detest 'Dirty Dancing'!! This happens to be my DDs fave film - she thinks I'm odd!

I hate Lost In Translation, anything with hobbits, Star Wars and War Horse.

I think the Rambo films are piss poor (but I think most people think that too).

Then it was on TV a couple of months ago and my god it was dire!

It is what it is, a film about angsty teens aimed at angsty teens so they can feel justified in hating their parents!

What I want to know is, did Molly Ringwald give Judd Nelson the cold shoulder when they are back in normal school or would she go all edgy and be the prom queen shagging the bad boy? I hope the latter but I suspect it would be the former!

I agree! Also hated Ghost and Dirty Dancing as Patrick Swayze made my skin crawl. I'm proud that I've never seen Titanic and I've not seen Frozen either.

YY to Highlander, saw that for the first time on TV recently, and it was awful! Sean Connery was particularly dreadful.

And I must confess that although I loved DD, I dont love it now. I think I was just the perfect age for the Brat Pack/Dirty Dancing/Ferris Bueller films, so when I see them now all I see is how awful and cringey I must have been as a teen!
